Kindest Santa Gnome - Let It Snow

This is a card I cased from Michele Zindorf's video only I didn't have the snowflake from the Joyful Flurry's set and used the Season of Chic snowflake instead as well as a sentiment "Let it Snow" from a Paper Pumpkin I had called Winter Gifts from 2019.  I still like the way it turned out.

Stamp Sets:  Kindest Gnomes, Season of Chic, and (PP-Winter Gifts 2019 “Let It Snow”)

Cardstock:  Basic White, Cherry Cobbler

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Balmy Blue, Soft Succulent

Stampin’ Blends:  Pale Papaya, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Light Smokey Slate

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Blending Brushes, Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Chic Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, 3” x 5” Post-it Note

1.     The base of the card is Basic White cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut at 4” X 5-1/4” and adhered to the base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Cut Basic White cardstock at 2-3/4” x 4-1/2”.  Tear a 3” x 5” Post-it note across the top but leaving some of the sticky part to cover the bottom inch or so of the Basic White section.

4.    Use a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink pad to ink up the sky.  Use a Blending Brush and Soft Succulent ink pad to blend the very top of the sky.  Remove the post-it note and run the section through the 3-D Wintry Embossing Folder (snowflakes) in the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.

5.    On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, ink up the Gnome with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Color his nose and mouth with the Light Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blend. Color the Gnome’s hat and suit with Light Cherry Cobbler Blend and use the Dark Cherry Cobbler Blend for the shadows.  Color his mittens with the Dark Basic Black Blend and Boots. Use the Paper Snips to fussy cut him out if you don’t want white edges.  Otherwise, use the Gnome Die to die-cut him out.  Adhere him with Multipurpose Liquid Glue with his feet in the snow.

6.    Use the brush side of the Smokey Slake Blending Brush to make footprints in the snow.

7.    Ink up the snowflake from the Season of Chic stamp with Soft Succulent.  Die-cut it out with the Chic Dies.  Use a Blending Brush to add Balmy Blue ink to the edges.  Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Add a Rhinestone to the center of the snowflake.

8.    Layer the stamped image section to the Basic White cardstock cut at 2-7/8” x 4-5/8” and adhere to the Cherry Cobbler layer on the front of the card.

9.    Ink up the sentiment “Let It Snow” from the 2019 Paper Pumpkin Winter Gifts on Basic White cardstock and cut it out with the Paper Snips.  (An alternative stamp would be Joyful Flurry stamp set in the 2022 Holiday Catalog on page 19 which has a snowflake and the sentiment “Let it Snow”.)
