Crafting With You

I'm in love with this new stamp set "Crafting With You" and I made this for a monthly swap that I'm in for the Preorder, and this is one of the sets that I preordered as well as the Designer Series Paper called Countryside Inn.  Blue is my favorite color, so of course, that is what I chose to make this card using Night of Navy, Boho Blue, and Misty Moonlight.  This new set bundle will be available on May 2 as well as the Countryside Inn DSP.

Stamp Set:  Crafting with You

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Silver Foil, Countryside Inn DSP

Ink:  Night of Navy

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Crafting With You Dies, Radiating Stitches Dies, Round and Square Brads or the 2023-2024 In-Color Dots, Baker’s Twine Essential Pack, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals, Glue Dot

1.     The base of the card is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Boho Blue cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the base.

3.    The third layer is the Countryside Inn DSP cut at 3-3/4” x 5”.

4.    Die-cut a rectangle from the Radiating Stitched Dies using the Boho Blue cardstock which will be approximately 2-5/8” x 4”.

5.    Cut the Countryside Inn DSP at 2-1/4” x 3-5/8” to layer onto the Boho Blue Stitched Die layer.

6.    Die-cut the embroidery hoop, paper snips, spool and threads using the Crafting With You Dies using Basic White, Boho Blue, and Silver Foil.  Glue them together.

7.    Ink up the sentiment with Night of Navy ink on the white circle and insert into the hoop.  Cut off the Silver Foil to layer onto the Boho Blue scissors and add an In-Color Dot where the screw goes.  Attach with Multipurpose Glue and Dimensionals.

8.    Add a Basic White bow using the Baker’s Twine and use a Glue Dot to attach to the hoop.

Seaside Bay - Thank you Card

This is a thank you card that I made using the Seaside Bay Bundle.  I was inspired by a card that Erica Cerwin made for Facebook Friday, but I made it a little different than her version. I like how she used the strips of paper for the background.

Stamp Set:  Seaside Bay

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake, Boho Blue, Basic White, By the Bay DSP

Ink:  Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Seaside Bay Dies, Deckled Rectangle dies, Paper Trimmer, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Sponge Dauber, Dimensionals.

1.     The base of the card is Misty Moonlight cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4”.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The third layer is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 3-3/4” x 5”.  Cut ½” strips of Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, and Boho Blue.  The length is approximately 5-1/2” but it will be cut off.  (Better to be too long then too short).

4.    Starting on the third layer of Night of Navy cardstock, add adhesive and adhere a strip of Misty Moonlight, then Boho Blue, and last Night of Navy.  Using the same pattern, continue across the Night of Navy cardstock.  Let dry!  Then adhere to the Basic White layer

5.    The Crumb Cake cardstock is cut at 2” x 3-3/4”.  Use the long die to create the sand.  Use a Sponge Dauber in Crumb Cake ink on the top die-cut edge.  Ink up the sand/shells with Crumb Cake ink and stamp on the remaining sand leaving a little path for the Sandpiper birds.

6.    Adhere to the bottom of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

7.    Ink up the baby Sandpiper birds with Night of Navy ink and die-cut with the Seaside Bay Dies.  The mother bird was die-cut from the By the Bay DSP which retires soon. Add Dimensionals to the back of them and adhere to the sand.

8.    Ink up the sentiment “Thank You for Everything” on Basic White cardstock.

9.    Die-cut with the Deckled Rectangle Dies and adhere with Dimensionals.

Sending Smiles - Fence/Lattice Split Card

This was a fun card to make and there is so many possibilities into making this card for Mother's Day, Anniversary beside Birthday Wishes.  I learned the technique from Karen Titus and so fun to make even more.  My customers will be making this card at the workshop this afternoon.

Here are my instructions for making this card and you can shop Online at my store 24/7 to purchase the items to make this card below:

Sending Smiles – Fence/Lattice Split Card

Stamp Set:  Sending Smiles (Carrying Over), Celebrating You (Retiring Soon)

Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Basic White, Melon Mambo

Ink:  Garden Green, Melon Mambo

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Sending Dies, Banners Pick-a-Punch or Paper Snips, Sticky Notes Post Pad, Silicone Mat, Paper Piercing Mat, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    Use the Bone Folder to burnish the scored mark.

3.    Using the Paper Trimmer to cut off six 1/2” strips from the bottom.  Set aside two.

4.    Use the Sticky Notes to the underside of the card so that you can lay the strips across starting with the bottom of the card front, lining it up along the bottom edge.

5.    Add the other strips leaving space in between.

6.    The two that you set aside, use the Banners Pick-a-Punch to make caps for the fence post or use the Paper Snips, if it is quicker for you.

7.    Add small drops (dot-dot-dot; not a lot) of Multipurpose Glue along the two sides of the card for the fence posts.  Let dry!  Then carefully remove the Sticky Notes.  Cut off excess off the bottom posts with the Paper Snips.

8.    Now you are ready to stamp the stems and leaves with Garden Green ink on the bottom of the 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” Basic White cardstock.  Ink up the two flowers with Melon Mambo ink above leaving space for the sentiment at the very top with Melon Mambo ink too.  The centers of the flowers are stamped with Crushed Curry ink using the Stampin’ Spot or ink pad.

9.    Die-cut all at once (if you wish) in the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine using post-it note tape to hold them in place.

10.  Add the stems and leaves with Multipurpose Glue to the right fence post.  Add the flowers with Dimensionals.  Add the leaves/bush to the left fence post with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use the Silicone mat when using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

11.   The sentiment can be cut with the Paper Snips, but banner die is the right size for the width.  Layer onto the ½” x 2-1/8” of Melon Mambo.
