This is another treat bag made with the Tricks & Treats Dies.  I made candy corn with the dies and an acorn.  It is so much fun to make these candy bags for Halloween.  I think I'll make some for Christmas too.

Tricks & Treats Treat Bag - Two Glow-in-the-Dark Frankensteins

These little treat bag holders are the cutest things to create.  Not only can they be used for Halloween, but for any holiday season.  You can fill them with candy or put homemade goodies in a plastic bag and insert inside them.  You could even add a gift card inside.  I think next time, when I stamp on the Glow in the Dark Paper, I would emboss instead with Black Embossing Powder.

Stamp Set: Tricks & Treats

Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie, Glow-in-the-Dark Specialty Paper, Them Bones Designer Series Paper

Ink:  Black Stazon, Tuxedo Black Memento

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Tricks & Treats Dies, ¼” Black and White Ribbon, Tear and Tape, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     Cut two Pumpkin Pie treat bags with the Tricks & Treats Dies.

2.    Cut two of the DSP at 2-3/4” x 3-3/4 for the front and back.  Add the Eek! Stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

3.    Cut two of the DSP at ¾” x 3-1/4” for the sides.  Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Use the bag hole dies from the Tricks & Treats Dies before adhering your gift bag.

5.    Use Tear and Tape on the small ends to form the bag.  Close the bottom with Tear and Tape as well.

6.    Ink up the “Frankenstein” stamp with Black Stazon to stamp on the Glow in the Dark Paper.  Stamp two and die-cut them out.  Adhere the top one with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

7.    Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the front one and adhere to the front of the bag.

8.    Add the ¼” Black and White Ribbon for the treat bag handles.  Watch the bag glow in the dark!

9.    Tip:  I think the black on Frankenstein might show up better with Black Embossing Powder.

Tricks or Treats - Dracula

This is a card that I somewhat cased from Rose Coleman but used Black Linen Thread instead of ribbon.  It's a fun-fold card and it opens as a gate fold.  I had only made one card with this set, so I'm hoping to make even more for Halloween.  It is such a cute set, and you can make a treat bag with the matching dies which can be used for other holidays, not just Halloween.

These are my instructions for this card:

Stamp Set:  Tricks & Treats

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Basic White, Them Bone Designer Series Paper

Ink:  Petal Pink, Tuxedo Black Memento, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Tricks & Treats Dies, Bone Folder, Black Baker's Twine, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stylish Shapes, Nested Essentials, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

1.     The base of the card is Basic Black cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at

2-3/4” x 8-1/4”.  Burnish the score lines with the Bone Folder.

2.    The gate doors have the “tombstone” Them Bones DSP cut at 2-1/2” x 4” and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Basic White is cut at 3-3/4” x 5” and layered with “dancing skeletons” Them Bones DSP.  Only adhere to the left gate door so it can be opened.

4.    Use the Stylish Shapes circle with Basic White for a circle.  Stamp “Eek!” with Cajun Craze and the bats with Tuxedo Black Memento.

5.    Use a Dauber to sponge the edge of the circle with Pumpkin Pie ink to make it pop!

6.    Stamp the face of Dracula with Petal Pink (second generation).  Add his hairline, eyes, nose and mouth with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Die-cut him out with the Tricks & Treats Dies. Adhere the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front of the card.

7.    Attach a double bow of Black Baker's Twine.

8.    On the inside, add a layer of leftover DSP and using the Nested Essentials with Basic White cardstock, die-cut the largest rectangular die from Basic White cardstock.  Stamp “Trick or Treat” with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Ink up a ghost with Cajun Craze and stamp above the sentiment.

9.    Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Bag of Bones - Missing Middle

This is a card idea I cased from Susan Campfield.  The technique is "Missing in the Middle" card.  The skeleton flap attaches to the top and bottom to create this fun card.  I colored the ribbon with a Pumpkin Pie Blend and attached it with a Glue Dot.  I stamped the bats as well as die-cut some to add to my card. I added Wink of Stella to his hat!  I also added a Glow-in-the-Dark bat!  Yes, the Glow-in-the-Dark Embellishments do what they say, they glow in the dark!   Stampin' Up! also has Glow-in-the-Dark Specialty Paper but I didn't use it on my card.  I die-cut the skeleton from the DSP called Them Bones, but there is a stamp that also stamps the skeleton, and you could emboss him, but I did the easy way.

Stamp Sets:  Bag of Bones, Tricks & Treats

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Basic White, Them Bones DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Pumpkin Pie Blend for ribbon

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Bag of Bones Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Black Stampin’ Dimensionals, Wink of Stella, Black & Vanilla Ribbon. Glow-in-the Dark Bats and Ghosts

1.     The base of the card is Basic Black cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 7-1/4 and scored at 5-1/2.  Use a Bone Folder to burnish the scored line.

2.    The bottom panel is Basic Black cardstock cut at 1-3/4” x 4-1/4” for the front of the card which is the same size as the top panel. Set aside.

3.    For the middle panel with the skeleton, Basic Black cardstock is cut at 2-1/4” x 4-1/4”.

4.    For the middle panel, Basic White cardstock is cut at 2” x 4” for the second layer.  The inside of the card is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”. Glue inside and then on the right, ink up the sentiment (Eat, Shriek, and Be Scary” with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (use the Basic Black middle panel as a guide before it’s adhered to your card to make sure you have enough room for the sentiment).

5.    Die-cut one of the skeletons from the Them Bones DSP with the Bag of Bones Dies.  Adhere with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals towards the bottom of the Basic White layer leaving room to stamp bats with Tuxedo Black Memento.

6.    Them Bones DSP is cut at 1-1/2” x 4 two times for the top and bottom panels in front.

7.    Basic Black scraps for the bats and hats using the Bag of Bones Dies.

8.    Add two Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top and two at the bottom of the middle flap.  Align bottom flap with bottom of card and adhere the skeleton middle panel to the left of the card.  Now your card is one piece but missing the middle!

9.    Add a bat from the Glow-in-the Dark Bats & Ghosts Embellishments.  Add Wink of Stella to the Basic Black top hat.

10.  On the inside, add “Happy Halloween” and a dog or cat where it won’t show from the front.

11.   Optional:  Black and Vanilla ribbon can also be added with coloring it with the Pumpkin Pie Blends and tie a knot and attach with a Glue Dot.
