Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop January 2022 - Mischievous Mice Thank You

Hello and welcome to this month's customer thank you Blog Hop!  Thank you for joining us for the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop.  I'm super excited to have you hop along and gather ideas and creative inspiration.  We're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world who are collaborating together to learn, share and grow our Stampin' Up! businesses, and we all really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way, you can find the link list at the bottom of this post that you can jump from blog to blog easily.  Make sure you check out all the amazing projects!

I'm a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the United States, so if you SHOP WITH ME this month, I will send you one of these adorable, hand-made thank you cards you see below.

This month I have used a very cute host set from the 2022 January-June Mini Catalog on page 90.
It is called Mischievous Mice and can only be earned as a hostess.

These are the instructions for my cards:Stamp Set: Mischievous Mice (Host), Free as a Bird (sentiment inside)

Cardstock:  Bumblebee, Basic White,

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Pumpkin Pie

Stampin’ Blends:  Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Smoky Slate

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Layering Circles Dies, Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Dauber, Bone Folder, Multipurpose Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Bumblebee cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.  Fold and burnish score lines with a Bone Folder.

2.    Use the Layering Circles Dies to die-cut circle from the cardstock to represent the cheese.  If you have the old circle punches, they work well too.  I also used my retired hand-held circle punches for the smaller circles.

3.    Ink up the mouse stamp and the mouse in the cheese stamp with Tuxedo Black ink and stamp on Basic White cardstock.  Color in with the Blends.

4.    Use the Dauber and the Pumpkin Pie ink to outline the cheese card and bigger cheese holes to give it more dimension.  Also, use it for the “thanks” on the front.

5.    Use Dimensionals to add the “thanks” and the cheese with the mouse.

6.    Glue the single mouse to the inside of the circle using Multipurpose Glue.  I added the tip of his tail that was cut off with the circle.

7.    I stamped the sentiment inside “Your friendship means the world to me” which is from the Free as a Bird stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  As mentioned at the top, this is a blog hop, so make sure you 'hop' around to all the amazing projects on this hop.  Click on the links below to visit them.
