Sweet as a Peach - Gum Case Holder

Do you like to chew gum?  Have you bought the gum holders with the plastic case?  What do you do with the empty case when you are done with your gum?  Don't throw it away!  Decorate it with Stampin' Up! DSP and give it to a friend as a gift.  It also holds two Ghirardelli candies or whatever else you can think of.  I got the idea from Amanda Waldhart
Here are her instructions that I viewed on YouTube Gum Holder & Post It Holder Gifts using Stampin' Up! Products - YouTube

Here are my written instructions:

Stamp Sets:  Sweet as a Peach, Banner Year

Cardstock:  Basic White, 12” x 12” You’re a Peach DSP

Ink:  Memento Black, Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya, Old Olive

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Peach Dies, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Gum Holder Plastic Case

1.     Use the Extra Spearmint Gum (or other flavors) as the pattern.  Some plastic gum holders are slightly different in size.  Cut the 12” x 12” You’re a Peach DSP at 4” x 5-3/4” and score at 3” and 3-5/8”.

2.    Ink up the peach stamp with Pale Papaya ink.  Take a Dauber to ink up the peach with Calypso Coral around the edges of the stamp before stamping it onto Basic White cardstock.  Ink up the leaf with Old Olive ink.

3.    Die-cut with the Peach Dies.  Adhere peach leaf to the peach with Multipurpose Glue.  Adhere with Dimensionals to the DSP shorter side of the score lines.

4.    Insert the DSP into the plastic gum holder.

5.    For the lid:  Cut the DSP at 1-1/4” x 4”.  Use a Glue Dot to hold it in place.

6.    Insert the original gum or a couple Ghirardelli candies.
