Merriest Trees - Fun Fold

This is a fun-fold card that I made this month.  The idea came from another demo but I changed it somewhat and sorry, I can't remember who at the moment.  Here are the instructions that I made:

Stamp Set:  Merriest Trees, Trucking Along

Cardstock:  Lost Lagoon, Thick Basic White, Basic White, Winter Meadow DSP, A Walk in the Forest DSP

Ink:  Lost Lagoon

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Bone Folder, Merriest Trees Dies, Nesting Essential Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Festive Pearls, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 2-1/8”.  Fold back the 2-1/8” towards the front. Use Bone Folder.

2.    Cut another Thick Basic White cardstock at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” for the front.

3.    Cut the Winter Meadow DSP at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhere to the 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” Thick Basic White cardstock for the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Add 1-1/4” x 5-1/4” to the bottom with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Cut a Nested Essential from Lost Lagoon and adhere in the middle of the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    Ink up the largest tree with Lost Lagoon ink and die-cut with the Merriest Trees Dies.  Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhere to the front.

6.    Ink up the sentiment “Wishing you a Festive Christmas” from the Trucking Along stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink and die-cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals below the tree.

7.    Add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the 2-1/8” front and attach the 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” front.

8.    Open and adhere 1-7/8” x 5-1/4” DSP stamped with sentiment “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” with Lost Lagoon ink with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

9.    Attach 1-7/8” x 5-1/4” DSP to the middle section with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

10.  Add 4” x 5-1/4” DSP to the last inside flap.  Die-cut a large Nesting Essential Dies from Basic White and adhere to the middle of the DSP.

11.   Punch out a bear from the Walk in the Forest DSP and adhere at the bottom right.

12.  Add the silver Festive Pearls to the tree on the front.

Beary Cute - Fun Fold

This is a tutorial from Debra Harrison that I made using her instructions. It's a fun fold card.  The side flap with the trees and deer fold over to the front flap.  It also used the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder, soon to retire as well as the Beary Cute Bundle.  It makes a very nice Christmas card.  The Merriest Trees Bundle will retire the end of the year but will be carried over individually.

Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop for December 2023 - Translucent Florals - Congratulations Gift Card

Thank you for joining us for the Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! I'm super excited to have you hop along and gather ideas and creative inspiration. We're a group of Stampin' Up demonstrators from around the world who are collaborating together to learn, share and grow our Stampin' Up businesses, and we all really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can jump from blog to blog easily. Make sure you check out all of the amazing projects!

So, remember, if you place an order with me, this is one of the cards you will receive to thank you for your purchase.

Here are a few of my customer cards for the month -

This month, I have used the Translucent Floral of products for a congratulations card. That’s right! For my wonderful customers who shop with me during December 2023, they will receive a sampling of these products in the form of a hand-made card from me. How exciting!  The Last Chance list is available so a lot of things will be retiring, but not this Bundle.  But after the first of the year, the stamp set and the dies will be sold separately, so get them now to get 10% off.

That's right, if you place any order with me this month, I will send you this very card to show you how much I appreciate your business. I started with using the Berry Burst cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" and 1".

I used the new Deckled Circles Dies that are so awesome that I've used them a lot since I purchased them.  They are being carried over so I'm thankful for that.  I used Paper Snips to cut out the floral arrangement from the beautiful Delightful Floral DSP. This paper is not sold in any Stampin' Up! catalogs.  It can only be purchased Online.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
As mentioned at the top, this is a blog hop so make sure you 'hop' around to all the amazing projects on this hop! Click on the links below to visit them.

Do you need any of the products used on today’s project? See the products below to go shopping.

Stamp Set:  Translucent Florals

Cardstock:  Berry Burst, Basic White, Delightful Floral DSP

Ink:  Berry Burst

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Deckled Circles Dies, Paper Snips, Tear and Tape, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Berry Burst cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 1” and 4-1/4”.  Burnish the score lines with the Bone Folder, but fold the 1” score line inward towards the inside of the card.  This will create a pocket for a gift card.

2.    Tear and Tape is on the edges to create the pocket.  Remove the adhesive strip in order to adhere it down on each end.

3.    The Delightful Floral DSP is cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and then 1” is cut off of the right side.  Adhere the largest DSP section to the front flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the 1” x 5-1/4” section to the right side of the inside of the card which will show when the card is closed.  Make sure you align it to the front DSP.

4.    Adhere a 3” x 5-1/4” Basic White cardstock against the edge of the DSP strip on the inside.

5.    Die-cut a Berry Burst Deckled Circle.  Ink up “Congratulations” with Berry Burst ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock.  Angle cut the strip with the Paper Snips and adhere to the bottom of the Deckled Circle.

6.    With the Paper Snips, fussy cut the floral from the DSP and attach to the Berry Burst Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.    Then with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, attach the circle to front flap of the card only.

8.    This can also be a “thank you” card, if desired.
