Boardwalk Fun - Spinner

 

My grandtwins turn 11 this month, and they love things that spin so when I saw a card that Tracy McDonnell from the Paper Craft Studio made with this set, I knew it would be perfect for them.  So, I made three of them, two for my grandtwins and one for me.  I watched her video and took notes.  The colors are Secret Seat, Petunia Pop, Coastal Cabana and Lemon Lolly.  It actually spins!  You can purchase the spinners from Amazon.

Valentine Kisses - Shaker Card

This shaker card was inspired by Erica Cerwin, but I changed the ribbon and colored it with a Real Red Blend instead of keeping the Bubble Bath original color.  I also layered the sentiment.  I hadn't made a shaker card for a while, but with the cute little bear turning into a cupid, I couldn't resist.  Also, the Loose Valentine Assortment was perfect for the shaker.

Stamp Set:  Valentine Kisses

Cardstock:  Real Red, Basic White, Crumb Cake, Window Sheet, 12” x 12” Made with Love DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Real Red

Stampin’ Blends:  Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Real Red

Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Valentines Kisses Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Loose Valentine Assortment, Foam Adhesive Strips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 1/8” Faux Linen Bubble Bath Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Wink of Stella

 

1.     The base of the card is 4-1/4” x 11” Real Red cardstock and scored in half at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Made with Love DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the card front.

3.    Cut a 2-1/2” circle in the center of the top of a 3” x 4” Basic White cardstock.  Adhere a 3” x 3” Window Sheet to the back.

4.    Stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink on ¾” x 1-1/2” Basic White cardstock and layer onto Real Red cardstock.  Adhere to the bottom left front corner of the Basic White cardstock.

5.    Using a Foam Adhesive Strip, create a border around the open circle on the window sheet side.  Pour in some of the Loose Valentine Assortments.  Peel off the backing and adhere another 3” x 4” Basic White cardstock to the circle.

6.    Ink up the 1/8” Faux Linen Bubble Bath Ribbon with Real Red Stampin’ Blend and let dry, and then adhere to the top left corner with a Mini Glue Dot.

7.    Adhere the shake to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8.    Stamp the bear stamp in Memento Black ink on Crumb Cake cardstock.  Use the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend to add some shadows to the bear.  Color the ears with Petal Pink Blend.

9.    Stamp the wings in Memento Black ink on Basic White Cardstock.

10.   Cut both pieces out with matching Valentine Kisses dies.

11.   Adhere the wings to the back of the bear and use Wink of Stella on them and then add to the shaker card with Dimensionals.

Love Story - I Adore You!

This card could be for Valentine's or Easter.  The bunny is the main focus point from the Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera Pack in the Annual Catalog.  This card was inspired by Selene Kempton, but I changed it up a little from hers.  Here are my instructions:

Stamp Set:  Love Story

Cardstock:  Azure Afternoon, Basic Black, Basic White, 6” x 6” Love Notes DSP

Ink:  Azure Afternoon

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, All in a Row EF, Textured Note Dies, Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, Pack Your Bags Twine Three Pack, Rainbow Adhesive Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multipurpose Glue

 

1.     The base of the card is Azure Afternoon cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic Black cardstock cut at approximately 3-3/4”x 5-1/4”

3.    The third layer is Basic White cardstock down to insert into the All in a Row EF horizontally and ran through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine and then cut down to 3-5/8” x 5”.  Layer onto the Basic Black cardstock with Multipurpose Glue and adhered to the front of the base card.

4.    Die cut the Basic White cardstock using the Textured Note Dies (Last Chance dies) using the third from the largest.  Add a 1” x 2-3/4” strip of the Azure Afternoon DSP from the Love Notes.  Then add the bunny from the Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera Pack with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Add an Azure Afternoon bow from the Pack Your Bags Twine (retired) but you can always color Basic White twine with a Azure Afternoon Stampin Blend.  Then add Azure Afternoon Rainbow Adhesive Dots.

Pop Up Block Card

 

This is Pop-Up Block Card which I learned from the Pampered Stamper.  She used the same DSP but a different sheet.  Cutting the Designer Series Paper is probably the hardest part, but she posted the dimensions on her website of how to cut the DSP and how to score and layer the cardstock.  This works best with any scenery DSP.  I used my Lasting Linen Background stamp in the new Stampin' Positioner for the inside of my card.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was from Sweet Jar which is retired but you can use any stamp.
