Easter Basket - Hello, Spring

Rather than an Easter Basket, I made a Spring bouquet for my basket.  I love daffodils, and although there are other flowers in this Easter set.  My daffodils are up this year, but it is snowing here in Indiana.

Here are the instructions for my card:

Stamp Set:  Easter Basket

Cardstock:  Shy Shamrock, Balmy Blue, Lemon Lolly, Peach Pie, 12” x 12” Whispers of Texture DSP, 12” x 12” Easter Joy DSP

Ink:  Shy Shamrock

Other: Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Easter Basket Dies, Everyday Arches Dies, ¼” Balmy Blue Gingham Ribbon, Three Banner Punch, Easter Assortment, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Shy Shamrock cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Easter Joy DSP (plaid) and cut at 4” x 5-1/4”/ Wrap the ¼” Balmy Blue Gingham Ribbon around the Easter Joy DSP and adhere to the back using a strong adhesive.  Tie a bow on the right side, leaving the ribbon on the roll before trimming it off so it’s not wasted.

3.    Die cut a Balmy Blue arch from the Everyday Arches Dies (fourth from the largest).

4.    Die-cut a White basket from the Whispers of Textures DSP with the Easter Basket Dies.  Before adhering to the arch, die-cut your flowers.

5.    Die cut 5 leaves and stems from Shy Shamrock cardstock from the Easter Basket Dies and adhere to the basket with adhesive.

6.    Die cut 5 daffodils using Lemon Lolly and Peach Pie cardstock and adhere to the stems with adhesive.

7.    Adhere your spring basket bouquet of flowers to the Balmy Blue arch.  Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the arch and adhere to the front of the card.

8.    Ink up the sentiment “Hello, spring” with Shy Shamrock ink and punch out with the Three Banner Punch.  Adhere the Basic White banner to the basket.

9.    Adhere 3 Easter Assortment dots to the card.

This is a Pop Out Swing Card that I made, and it is a popular style card right now.  I've seen several of them made with different stamps.  This one was an original from Julis Salva and it looks hard but once you make one, it is much easier.  I used the Pop-Up Petals stamp set bundle and colored them in.  These are the products I used:
