Paradise Palms - Direct to Paper


This is another direct to paper card this time using the Paradise Palms.  I just love the green inks using this technique.  I used Tuxedo Black Memento this time for the palms. Before I used Night of Navy for the ferns.

Stamp Set:  Paradise Palms

Cardstock:  Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, Basic White

Ink:  Granny Apple Green, Mint Macaron, Garden Green, Shaded Spruce, Night of Navy, and Black Memento

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Beautiful Shapes, Paper Trimmer, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

 

1.     The base of the card is Granny Apple Green cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 5-1/2”.

2.    The second layer is Basic Black cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.  The third layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 3-3/4” x 5”.

3.    Begin by applying ink pads direct to the Basic White starting with Granny Apple ink in a vertical sweep.  Then Mint Macaron, Garden Green, Shaded Spruce, and Night of Navy.

4.    Ink up the palms stamps with Black Memento ink and randomly stamp on the Basic White cardstock.  Layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    Ink up “Happy Birthday” from Paradise Palms on Granny Apple cardstock and die-cut with the Beautiful Shapes circle die.

6.    Attach the circle with a Dimensional.

Nature's Prints - Direct to Paper and Embossed

This is another card I made using the direct to paper technique and then I embossed it with the new Fern 3D Embossing Folder.  I loved the effect.  I love this new stamp set!  It will be available on May 3, 2022.

Stamp Set:  Nature’s Prints

Cardstock:  Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, Basic White

Ink:  Granny Apple Green, Mint Macaron, Garden Green, Shaded Spruce, and Night of Navy

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Natural Prints Dies, Fern 3D Embossing Folder, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

 

1.     The base of the card is Granny Apple Green cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic Black cardstock cut at 3-5/8” x 5-1/8”.

3.    The third layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 3-1/2” x 5”.

4.    Begin the Basic White direct to paper with the ink pads leaving some white background.

5.    Ink up the fern stamps with Night of Navy ink and randomly stamp at the bottom and the sides.

6.    Then insert it into the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

7.    Layer onto the Basic Back with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then attach to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

8.    Ink up the sentiment “Best Wishes and Happy Thoughts” with Night of Navy ink.  Die-cut with the label from Natural Prints Dies and attach to the card with Dimensionals.

Nature's Prints - Direct to Paper

This is a card using a technique called direct to paper by using the end of an ink pad directly to the paper by swiping it vertically or horizontally.  I used the new stamp set  Nature's Prints.

Stamp Set:  Nature’s Prints

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Shaded Spruce, Basic White

Inks:  Granny Apple Green, Mint Macaron, Just Jade, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Natural Prints Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

 

1.     The base of the card is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Shaded Spruce cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The third layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”.

4.    Begin on the Basic White by taking your ink pad directly at a vertical angle across the cardstock with Granny Apple Green, then Mint Macaron, Just Jade, Shaded Spruce, and Garden Green.  No two cards will look the same.

5.    Ink up the fern stamps with Night of Navy ink and randomly stamp all over your Basic White cardstock.

6.    Ink up the sentiment “Best Wishes & Happy Thoughts with Night of Navy ink.  Die-cut with the Natural Prints Die label and attach with Dimensionals to the card.

Nature's Prints

This is a new stamp set and designer paper that will be in the annual catalog.  The Designer Paper is called Sun Prints and it is absolutely gorgeous.  The colors in the Sun Prints DSP are Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, and Starry Sky. There are 12 sheets, 2 each of double-sided designs.  The stamp set is called Nature's Prints and it comes with 9 cling mount stamps four of them are sentiments.
I created this card with the instructions below:

Stamp Set:  Nature’s Prints

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Basic White, Sun Prints DSP

Ink:  Night of Navy or Starry Sky

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Beautiful Shapes Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

 

1.     The base of the card is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    The third layer is Sun Prints cut at 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Ink up the “A Heartfelt Thank You” sentiment from Nature’s Prints with Night of Navy ink or the new Starry Night ink on Basic White cardstock.  Die-cut with the Beautiful Shapes circle die.

5.    Attach with Dimensionals.

6.    On the inside:  Adhere leftover DSP and stamp some of the Nature’s Prints with Night of Navy ink.
