Nature's Prints - Direct to Paper

This is a card using a technique called direct to paper by using the end of an ink pad directly to the paper by swiping it vertically or horizontally.  I used the new stamp set  Nature's Prints.

Stamp Set:  Nature’s Prints

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Shaded Spruce, Basic White

Inks:  Granny Apple Green, Mint Macaron, Just Jade, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Natural Prints Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Shaded Spruce cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The third layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”.

4.    Begin on the Basic White by taking your ink pad directly at a vertical angle across the cardstock with Granny Apple Green, then Mint Macaron, Just Jade, Shaded Spruce, and Garden Green.  No two cards will look the same.

5.    Ink up the fern stamps with Night of Navy ink and randomly stamp all over your Basic White cardstock.

6.    Ink up the sentiment “Best Wishes & Happy Thoughts with Night of Navy ink.  Die-cut with the Natural Prints Die label and attach with Dimensionals to the card.
