Snowman Birthday

This is a card I made for my good buddy in Florida. It might be the only snowman she will see this season. Althought it has been cold down there, but not enough for snow. I used the Big Shot and the Top Note Die using Old Olive for his hat and Whisper White for his face. I used the Northern Frost Decorative Strip for the snowflake on his hat and added a Green Circle Ice Rhinestone Brad. I used a Dauber for his rosy cheeks using Pink Pirouette. I saw this idea on another website by Shari Dudek.

JOLLY OLD SAINT NICK

This is a card I made for a swap this month. I used Real Red card stock for the basic card. I stamped Jolly Old Saint Nick on Whisper White with Basic Black ink.
I colored in his rosy cheeks and nose with the red watercolor pencil and blender pen.
I used 2-way glue pen and dazzling diamonds on his beard, eyebrows, mustache, and his hat. I layered Santa on Basic Black card stock and attached to the front of my card. The "Merry Christmas" is from the Christmas Greetings stamp set.

COASTER CALENDAR

I made coaster calendars for the speech teachers and this one is a sample of what I gave to each of them tonight. The coaster calendar is like an easel and can stand up on their desk. The idea of how to make them came from Gretchen Barron.

I used the glue sticks to attach the DSP to the coaster. Then I trimmed the excess DSP close to the coaster and used a sanding blocks to round off the corners. I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border and the Owl Punch. I made a stand for the back by cutting 2" x 11" piece of cardstock. Then they were scored at 3.5", 7", 8", 9 " and 10" Then I attached the mini calendar to the front.
