More Than Autumn - Potions and Spells

This is a card that I made using the More Than Autumn cups to make them appear as toxic brews that the witches concocted with the bats from the Potions & Spells stamped on the labels.  It made a fun card for Halloween.  The colors I used are Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight, and Basic White.

Stamp Sets:  More Than Autumn, Potions & Spells

Cardstock:  Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight, Basic White, and Flowering Zinnia DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento. Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Forever Plaid Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes Dies, More Than Autumn Dies, Paper Snips, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Gorgeous Grape cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Lemon Time Twist cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Cut a strip of the Flowering Zinnia DSP at 1” x 4” and adhere to the left side of the card.

4.    Die-cut a Daffodil Delight large circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies and also a Basic White circle.  Ink up the “Double Double Toil & Trouble” with Tuxedo Black ink onto the Basic White circle.  Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    Ink up two cups from the More Than Autumn set on Basic White cardstock.  Color it in with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.

6.    Ink up two cups on the DSP to create the labels for the cups.  Cut the labels out with the Paper Snips.  Ink up the bat/stars stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento and stamp onto the labels.  Attach the labels to each cup with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

7.    Ink up the straw with Tuxedo Black Memento onto Basic White cardstock and cut them out with the Paper Snips or the dies.  Attach with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

8.    Attach the cups to the circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then attach the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front of the card.
