More Than Autumn - Pumpkin Season

This is a card that was inspired by Kathy Bedell, but I changed it somewhat.  I liked putting the little pumpkins on the sleeves.  This is such a darling set called More Than Autumn, and not only can you use it for Fall, but you can also use it for other Holidays.  It comes as a Bundle.

Here are my instructions:

Stamp Set:  More than Autumn

Cardstock:  Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, To Market DSP

Ink:  Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake

Stampin’ Blends:  Pumpkin Pie Light, Pecan Pie Light

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, Paper Snips, More Than Autumn Dies, Something Fancy Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Adhesive Sheets, Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

1.     The base of the card is Crushed Curry cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Cajun Craze cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Plaid 3D Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Embossing Folder. Adhere to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut two Pecan Pie latte cups from the dies and then cut two more from the To Market DSP.  Cut from the To Market DSP two latte sleeves to fit onto the latte cups by using the Paper Snips to cut out the middle and then attach the sleeves with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Ink up the whipped cream with Crumb Cake ink on Basic White cardstock and die-cut.

5.    Ink up two pumpkins with Pecan Pie and color in with the Pumpkin Pie Blends.  Die-cut them out.  Adhere to the sleeves of the cups with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

6.    Die-cut a label from the Stylish Shapes and the Something Fancy Dies from Basic White cardstock.  Ink up the sentiment “Nothing’s Better Than” with Pecan Pie ink on the Stylish Shapes label. Adhere to the top left of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.    For the Something Fancy Die, die-cut the dies “Pumpkin” and “Season” from Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  I adhered Adhesive Sheets, but you can always use a Dauber and Multipurpose Glue on a Silicone Mat when ready to add to the label. Add the label bottom of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then adhere the Pumpkin Season

8.    Add your latte cups with Stampin’ Dimensionals with one overlapping the other slightly.  Add the whipped cream with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

9.    Add three Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins.

It's that time of year!  Pumpkin Spice!
This is a new set from the Holiday Mini Catalog called More Than Autumn.  It comes with 36 Photopolymer stamps, and it has 23 dies when you purchase it as a bundle.  This card is similar to a card that Debra Harrison made only I changed it somewhat by making it a Latte and I added the Adhesive Backed Swirled Dots and I didn't add ribbon.

3.    Cut Cajun Craze cardstock at 3-1/4” x 4-1/2” and insert it into the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the center of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4.    Die-cut a 3” Basic White Circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

5.    Ink up the coffee cup with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamp it on the Basic White circle.  Color it in with Blends.

6.    For the whipped cream, ink it up with Pecan Pie and highlight with the Crumb Cake Light Blend.  Make two.  One is for the inside. Ink up a cinnamon stick with Pecan Pie.  Ink up the pumpkin with Pecan Pie and color with the Pumpkin Pie Blends.

7.    For the Pumpkin Pie, color with Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake Blends.  Die-cut all the pieces with the More Than Autumn Dies.  Die-cut the whipping cream with the small die for the inside.

8.    Die-cut “Latte” from Cajun Craze cardstock and adhere to the sleeve of the latte cup with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Add the whipping cream with a Stampin’ Dimensional to the top of the cup.  Add the cinnamon stick and pumpkin with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Potions and Spells and Playful Ghosts Book Binding Fun-Fold card

There isn't any new Halloween DSP in the Mini Catalog that arrives tomorrow, so I used the To Market DSP.  However, the new scrapbooking brochure starts tomorrow too, and it will have Halloween DSP to match this set called Potions and Spells.  I used the Playful Ghosts stamps for the sentiments inside and outside of this card.  This is a book binding fun-fold card.

This is how I made this card:

Stamp Sets:  Potions and Spells, Playful Ghosts

Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, To Market DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Stampin’ Blends:  Pecan Pie, Smoky Slate, Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Paper Snips, 3/8” Black & Very Vanilla Check Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins, Black Stampin’ Dimensionals, and Multipurpose Liquid Glue

1.     The base of the card is Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 4-1/4” and 5-1/2”.  Burnish score lines.  Fold and adhere Multipurpose Glue in between the 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” to form a book binding card.

2.    The To Market DSP is cut at 4” x 4” and 1” x 4” and adhered to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    First, wrap ribbon around side of card and tie in a knot.  Then remove it and color the ribbon with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend and let dry.

4.    Ink up the cauldron, cat and bubbles stamps with Tuxedo Black Memento.  Die cut the cauldron and the cat.  Color them in with the Stampin’ Blends.  I used Granny Apple Green to color the cats eyes.

5.    With the Paper Snips, trim out the bubbles and color them with Peach Pie Stampin’ Blend and then attach to the cauldron with the Black Dimensionals to the front of the card.  Attach the cat with Dimensionals/Multipurpose Glue.

6.    Ink up “Happy Halloween” from the Playful Ghosts with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamp on the far upper left.

7.    Wrap ribbon around card and tie in a knot.

8.    Add three Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins.

9.    Inside:  Cut Basic White cardstock 4” x 4” and ink up the “Trick or Treat” stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Adhere to inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
