Thanks a Bunch - Landscape Card with Flap

This is another card I made with a SAB set called Thanks a Bunch which can be purchased with a $50 order to earn it free starting January 5, 2023.  It was inspired by Mary Deatherage but I changed it somewhat.  The Designer Series Paper is also a SAB item called Dandy Designs that can be earned free with a $100 order.  It is 12” x 12” and it has 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double sides designs.  The colors in it are Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Petal Pink

Stamp Set:  Thanks a Bunch (2023 SAB)

Cardstock:  Granny Apple Green, Pale Papaya, Basic White, Dandy Designs DSP

Ink:  Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green

Other:  Paper Trimmer, Multipurpose Liquid Glue,

1.     The base of the card is Granny Apple Green cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”.

2.    The second layer is Pale Papaya cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The third layer is Dandy Designs DSP cut at 3-3/4” x 5”.

4.    The middle section is Pale Papaya cut at 3” x 8” and scored at 4” in the middle.

5.    Then it is layered with Granny Apple Green cardstock cut at 2-7/8” x 3-7/8”.

6.    The Basic White cardstock is cut at 2-3/4” x 3-3/4”.

7.    Start with Pumpkin Pie ink to stamp the detailed image of the carrot on the Basic White cardstock.  Stamp 3 or 4 to make a bunch. Then ink up the solid image stamp of the carrot with Mango Melody ink and stamp directly over the first image lining them up.  This is called two-step stamping and it gives it more of a dimensional effect.

8.    Next take the leaf stamp and ink it up with Granny Apple Green and stamp above each carrot.

9.    For the sentiment “Thanks a Bunch” ink it up with the “Thanks” with Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White strip.  Then ink up “a bunch” with Granny Apple Green ink.  It should measure the same distance as the Basic White about 2-3/4” x ½”.  Adhere across the carrots with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

10.  For the inside:  Ink up the sentiment “There’s No One Quite Like You” with Granny Apple Green ink.  Then add the small carrots stamp with Pumpkin Pie ink and the leaves with Granny Apple Green.  Adhere to Granny Apple Green cardstock and then to the Pale Papaya flap.

Adorable Owls - Thank You

This is a card I cased from Rose Ward but I made it a "thank you" card instead of a Christmas card.  I love the little Santa hat that was stamped with the October 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit called Ho, Ho, Ho.  My card is Poppy Parade. The little owl is from the Adorable Owls Sale-a-Bration stamp set that can be earned free with a $50 order starting January 5, 2023.

Stamp Sets: Adorable Owls (SAB), Christmas to Remember (inside), Seaside Bay (thank you)

Cardstock:  Poppy Parade, Basic White, Santa Express DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Stampin’ Blends:  Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, Pale Papaya

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Fabulous Frames Dies, Paper Snips, Irridescent Rhinestones, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Poppy Parade cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The DSP is cut at 3-3/4” x 5” and adhered to the second Basic White layer.

4.    Die-cut a Basic White oval frame from the Fabulous Frames Dies and glue to the lower right side of the card.

5.    Ink up the owl stamp with Memento Black and stamp him on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.  Then color him in with the Stampin’ Blends of Crumb Cake for his feathers, and Pale Papaya for his eyes, feet and beak.

6.    The Santa hat is from the October 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit colored in with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends and cut out with the Paper Snips and attach with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Attach to the oval with Dimensionals.

7.    I used the “Thank you” from Seaside Bay but masked the bottom portion and just used the thank you” and on the inside I used the stamp set Christmas to Remember with the sentiment “Friends Like You Make This Season Special”.

8.    Add Rhinestones.

Sweet Candy Cane Sled

Isn't this little candy cane sled darling?  I wish I could take credit for it, but I followed Deseree Doodles' instructions to make it.  Her website is below.  They would make great little table decorations for an adult party or a nice little Christmas gift for an adult. She used 3" x 4" organza bags, but I ordered these before I knew.

Stamp Set:  Sweet Candy Canes

Cardstock:  Real Red, Basic White

Ink:  Real Red

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Candy Cane Dies, Mini Pocket Envelope Die, Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Miniature Airplane Booze Bottle, Mini Santa Hat and Christmas Scarf set from Amazon, Mini 2” x 3” Organza Jewelry Bag from Amazon, Hersey’s Kisses. Miniature Airplane bottle of booze

1.     The box is Real Red cardstock cut at 5” x 5-1/2” and scored at 1-1/2” on every side.

2.    Glue together with Multipurpose Glue.

3.    Ink up both candy canes with Real Red ink and stamp on Basic White cardstock.  Die-cut them out with the Candy Cane Dies.  Die-cut two more from the Thick Basic White cardstock to make them stronger.  Attach with Multipurpose Liquid Glue but make sure the candy cane is slightly lower than the box on both sides.

4.    Ink up the greetings “Christmas Cheer” and die-cut with the oval from the Mini Pocket Envelope Die and glue it to the front of the sled.

5.    Insert the bottle of booze and wrap the scarf and attach the hat to the bottle.  Add kisses to the organza bag and put it behind the bottle.
