Thanks a Bunch - Landscape Card with Flap

This is another card I made with a SAB set called Thanks a Bunch which can be purchased with a $50 order to earn it free starting January 5, 2023.  It was inspired by Mary Deatherage but I changed it somewhat.  The Designer Series Paper is also a SAB item called Dandy Designs that can be earned free with a $100 order.  It is 12” x 12” and it has 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double sides designs.  The colors in it are Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Petal Pink

Stamp Set:  Thanks a Bunch (2023 SAB)

Cardstock:  Granny Apple Green, Pale Papaya, Basic White, Dandy Designs DSP

Ink:  Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green

Other:  Paper Trimmer, Multipurpose Liquid Glue,

1.     The base of the card is Granny Apple Green cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”.

2.    The second layer is Pale Papaya cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The third layer is Dandy Designs DSP cut at 3-3/4” x 5”.

4.    The middle section is Pale Papaya cut at 3” x 8” and scored at 4” in the middle.

5.    Then it is layered with Granny Apple Green cardstock cut at 2-7/8” x 3-7/8”.

6.    The Basic White cardstock is cut at 2-3/4” x 3-3/4”.

7.    Start with Pumpkin Pie ink to stamp the detailed image of the carrot on the Basic White cardstock.  Stamp 3 or 4 to make a bunch. Then ink up the solid image stamp of the carrot with Mango Melody ink and stamp directly over the first image lining them up.  This is called two-step stamping and it gives it more of a dimensional effect.

8.    Next take the leaf stamp and ink it up with Granny Apple Green and stamp above each carrot.

9.    For the sentiment “Thanks a Bunch” ink it up with the “Thanks” with Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White strip.  Then ink up “a bunch” with Granny Apple Green ink.  It should measure the same distance as the Basic White about 2-3/4” x ½”.  Adhere across the carrots with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

10.  For the inside:  Ink up the sentiment “There’s No One Quite Like You” with Granny Apple Green ink.  Then add the small carrots stamp with Pumpkin Pie ink and the leaves with Granny Apple Green.  Adhere to Granny Apple Green cardstock and then to the Pale Papaya flap.
