Warm Welcome - Christmas

This is the first card that I made with the new stamp set which is called Warm Welcome.  However, I added some stamp sets that will be retiring at the end of the year.  I wanted to make it into a Christmas card and the tree from the Trees for Sale stamp set was perfect for it.  I cut out the star from the Glimmer Paper that will retire too.  I embossed it with the Whimsical Woodland Embossing Folder.

Stamp Set:  Warm Welcome, Trees for Sale, Decorated with Happiness, Jingle Jingle Jingle

Cardstock:  Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Glimmer Specialty Paper

Ink:  Soft Suede, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, Real Red

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Warm Welcome Dies, Whimsical Woodland Embossing Folder, Festive Pearls, Paper Snips, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Soft Succulent cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Evening Evergreen cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Whimsical Woodland Embossing Folder in the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Then it is attached to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Ink up the door stamp with Soft Suede ink and stamp on Soft Suede cardstock.  Die-cut the stamped door with the Warm Welcome Dies.  Die-cut a Very Vanilla doorway.

4.    Ink up the largest tree solid image from the Trees for Sale stamp set with Soft Succulent ink and add the outline image stamp with Evening Evergreen ink over the other solid tree image to give it dimension.  Add the Real Red ornaments.  Add the Soft Suede post at the bottom of the tree.

5.    Add a gold Festive Pearl for the door knob.

6.    Ink up a star from the Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set on the Gold Glimmer Special Paper and cut it out with the Paper Snips.  Attach to the top of the tree with a Mini Dimensional.

7.    Ink up the greeting “Christmas Greetings” with Evening Evergreen ink from the Decorated with Happiness stamp set.  Use the Paper Snips to cut it out and attach it with Dimensionals above the door.
