So Very Merry - Angel - Barn Door Card

This is a card that I made using the Online Exclusive stamp set called So Very Merry.  It can only be purchased Online My Website:  I used the Star Gazing DSP from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog to create this adorable barn-dorr card.  I was inspired by a card made from Create with Christy.  Here are the instructions for my card:

Stamp Set:  So Very Merry

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Star Gazing DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Crushed Curry

Blends:  Daffodil Delight, Boho Blue

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Stylish Shapes Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Festive Pearls

1.     The base of the card is Night of Navy cardstock scored at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2”.  Turn the cardstock in the trimmer with the 4-1/4” at the top.  Cut at 2-1/8” to the 5-1/2” score line.  Turn and cut on the score line to the top to create a barn-door card.

2.    Cut the Star Gazing DSP at 2” x 5-3/8” and adhere to the front flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then with the second largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, cut a half circle in the right side of the flap.

3.    Cut the Crushed Curry cardstock at 4” x 5-1/4” and the Basic White cardstock at 3-3/4” x 5”.  Without gluing them together just yet, lay inside the card and ink up the angel stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamp on the Basic White inside the half circle.  Ink up the Bells stamp.  Remove the layers.

4.    Color in the angel and the bell with the Stampin’ Blends using the small end.

5.    Ink up the “Peace and Joy” stamp with Crushed Curry and stamp above the angel.

6.    Adhere both layers to the inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

7.    Add Gold Festive Pearls.
