Trucking Along - Black Truck

My husband had a Black Ford Pick Up truck, so naturally, I wanted to make this card using a black truck. I also used Silver Foil which I embossed with the Metal Plate Embossing Folder.  More details are below:

Stamp Set:  Trucking Along

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Silver Foil and Basic White, Zoo Crew DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Metal Plate Embossing Folder, Nested Essential Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Basic Black cardstock cut at 5-1/2” X 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Silver Foil cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Metal Plate Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere it to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Cut a black and white strip of Zoo Crew DSP at 1-1/4” x 5-1/4” and adhere to the middle of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Die-cut a Nested Essential die from Basic White cardstock.

5.    On a scrap of Basic White, ink up the outline stamp of the truck with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Then ink the solid image of the truck directly over it, adding the tires too.

6.    Use Tuxedo Black Memento on the Basic White Nested Essential die with the “road” or shadow toward the bottom leaving room to adhere the truck with Dimensionals.

7.    Add Dimensionals to the back of the Nested Essential Basic White die and adhere over the strip of Zoo Crew DSP.
