Trucking Along and Rays of Light

This card was inspired by Kathy Bedell but I used different colors and I used the Stamparatus and the Rays of Light for my background instead of DSP and I made the front flap a little bit longer plus I didn't use any Linen Thread.   I did a fun-fold card earlier on my blog similar to this one.  This one was a lot easier to make and I like the way it turned out.

Stamp Sets:  Trucking Along, Rays of Light

Cardstock:  Misty Moonlight, Basic White

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Daffodil Delight, Misty Moonlight, Pecan Pie

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Die Machine, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Stamparatus, Nested Essentials Dies, Trucking Along Punch, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Misty Moonlight cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 7-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4”.

2.    Insert Basic White cardstock in the Stamparatus using the Rays of Light background stamp with Daffodil Delight ink.  Cut it down to 3” x 5-1/4”.  Adhere to the front flap of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut a Basic White Nested Essential die (third from the largest0.

4.    With Pecan Pie ink, stamp the “shadow” of the truck on the Basic White Essential die-cut.

5.    Ink up the truck outline stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento on a scrap of Basic White.  Ink the solid truck image with Misty Moonlight and stamp off before stamping directly onto the outline image.

6.    Ink up the tires stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

7.    Punch it out with the Trucking Along Punch.  Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered above the shadow.

8.    Cut Basic White at 4” x 5-1/4” for the inside and ink up at the bottom “Sending You Sunny Thoughts” with Misty Moonlight ink and adhere to the inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and so that the sentiment shows from the front.
