Country Flowers

This card was made with a new set called Country Flowers in the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog on page 50.  The technique is called paper piecing.  I stamped the pot with Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock and die-cut it out.  Then I colored the spout and handle with the new In-Color called Petunia Pop.  Then I stamped on the DSP with Early Espresso and cut it out with Paper Snips and adhered to the pot.  I colored the flowers with the new In-color Blends.  I was inspired by Lynn Dunn, but I changed my card with more layers.

Here are my instructions:

Stamp Set:  Country Flowers

Cardstock:  Petunia Pop, Basic White, 2024-2026 6” x 6” In-Color DSP

Ink:  Petunia Pop, Early Espresso

Stampin’ Blends:  Petunia Pop, Shy Shamrock, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Country Flowers Dies, Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 2024-2024 In-Color Shimmer Gems

1.     The base of the card is Petunia Pop cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Cut Basic White cardstock at 2-3/4”x 3-3/4” and ink up Best.Friend.Ever. with Early Espresso ink at towards the bottom.

4.    Cut Petunia Pop cardstock at 2-7/8” x 3-7/8” and layer the Basic White onto it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhere to the front of the card.

5.    On a scrap of Basic White, ink up the pot with Early Espresso ink.  Color the handle and spout with the Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blend.  Die-cut with the Country Flowers Dies.

6.    Ink up the pot with Early Espresso ink and stamp on the Petunia Pop DSP.  Trim it out with the Paper Snips on the line and adhere to the pot with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. (Paper Piecing). Attach the pot with Stampin’ Dimensionals above the sentiment.

7.    On another scrap of Basic White, ink up the flowers with Early Espresso ink and color them with the Stampin’ Blends. Die-cut with the Country Flowers Dies.  Attach to the pot with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8.    Add the Gems.
