Beautiful Butterflies with Floral Delight - Happy Birthday - Double Z Fold

Here is another example of the card layout I made on Monday, but this time I used a circle from Stylish Shapes for the front and I used Balmy Blue for the Base of the card.  I used Floral Delight Designer Series Paper and Floral and Gingham for the strip.  I even used the Tiny Bee Trinkets to make this card using the same idea from yesterday only different colors, different stamp set, etc. If you'd like to purchase the products to make this card: SHOP WITH ME

Here are my instructions:

Ink:  Balmy Blue

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies, Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Tiny Bee Trinkets, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Seal, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Balmy Blue cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 2-1/8” and 4-1/4”.

2.    Cut Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhere to the inside.

3.    Cut Floral Delight DSP at 1-7/8” for the left side front flap and adhere with adhesive.

4.    Cut Floral Delight DSP at 2” x 5-1/4” and adhere to the inside on the right side of the Basic White cardstock.

5.    Cut a 1-1/2” x 8-1/2” strip of Balmy Blue cardstock and score at 4-1/4” and 6-3/8” for a z-fold band.

6.    Adhere (left to right) the following blue Gingham Vellum to the z-fold band.

● (1) 1-1/4” x 4”

● (2) 1-1/4” x 1-7/8”

Line up the center score line of the z-fold band with the card, making sure the long section is on the left and short section are on the right.  Adhere only the ends of the Z-fold band to the left front flap and right piece on the inside of the card.

7.    Die-cut a circle from the Stylish Shapes in Thick Basic White cardstock.  Ink up the “happy birthday” stamp from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set with Balmy Blue ink at the top of the circle.  With the Paper Snips, fussy cut a flower and leaves from the DSP.  Adhere to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Add 3 tiny bee trinkets.

8.    Adhere half the circle to the front flap and a Stampin’ Dimensional right of the strip.
