Hugs for Love Berry Basket with SAB Fruit Salad DSP

About 10 years ago, Stampin' Up! had a large die that was a Berry Basket Die, and I had a workshop back then using it and we filled it with paper strawberries with Hershey's kisses inside.  This basket from Amazon reminded me of it.  I just put kisses in a bag tied with a bow.  I used the new stamp set - Hugs for Love that comes as a bundle with the To the Point Punch.  I was sorting my Paper Pumpkins and noticed a few had fruit in them that could also be used to make this basket. Here are my instructions but the original idea came from Debra Harrison's video.

Stamps:  Hugs for Love

Cardstock:  Real Red, Basic White, Fruit Salad DSP

Ink:  Early Espresso or Tuxedo Black Memento

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, To the Point Label Punch Stylish Shapes, White Woven Ribbon, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Tear and Tape

1.     Adhere the following 2” x 3” pieces of Fruit Salad DSP around perimeter of the berry basket.  (2) green print and (2) apple print alternating the designs around the basket.

2.    Adhere the 2-3/8” x 8-1/2” strips of Real Red cardstock around the top band of the basket with adhesive (Multipurpose Glue or Tear and Tape).  Tip:  Start strips at center on front, finishing each end center in back and trim as needed.

3.    Punch label with To the Point Label Punch in Real Red cardstock.

4.    Die-cut a 1-3/4” circle with Stylish Shapes in Basic White cardstock.

5.    Stamp sentiment from Hugs for Love stamp set on circle with ink.

6.    Adhere the sentiment circle to the red label.  Adhere on front of basket with Dimensionals.

7.    Adhere a White Woven Ribbon bow on the front with a Mini Glue Dot.

8.    Manually cut two apples from the DSP and adhere on the back with Dimensionals.
