Holiday Lineup
These were gifts that I made for a couple of co-workers at my school. I, of course, drank the Frappuccino first, then cleaned the jars and lids out. I added homemade carmels, and store-bought candy to fill the jars. I measured the length and width of the cardboard container and used Sticky Strip to attach the cardstock.

Snow Swirled Embossed
This is my version of a card stamped by Carol Payne. The tree is stamped in Creamy Caramel and the snowflakes are stamped with Real Red. Then I stamped the tree in Versamark and to align it with the first tree, I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig. Next, I sprinkled the image with Heat and Stick powder. I heated the Heat and Stick with my heat tool until it melted and sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds. I punched each Whisper White corner with the Ticket Corner Punch. I stamped "Season's Greetings" with Real Red ink and tied 1/2" Striped Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon to my card.

Snow Swirled
This card was made with the stamp set "Snow Swirled" and uses the In-color Pacific Point. I also used Bashful Blue and Whisper White. The Whisper White was cut at 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" and I centered the Scallop Edge Punch on each side of the four sides to create a scalloped edge in the center of the square. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to align the snowflake in the middle of the square and embossed it with Iridescent Ice EP. I attached to the front of the card with dimensionals.

My Frankie
I've seen several Frankie cards and decided to make one of my own using lots of ideas from others. My Frankie uses the Kiwi Kiss (In-Color) cardstock cut at 3 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2". Using the Round Tab Punch, you will need to cut out three (3) using Basic Black cardstock to use for his hair, punch one (1)for his nose using Kiwi Kiss, and punch one (1) for the bolts in his neck using Lovely Lilac (cut it in half and attach with Black eyelets. Use the 1 1/4" Circle Punch to cut out two (2) eyes from Whisper White and (1) from Kiwi Kiss for his eyelids (which you will cut half). Use a dauber and ink it up with Kiwi Kiss to ink up the edges of his nose and eyelids. Use a 3/4" Circle Punch to make two (2) Basic Black circles for his eyes and highlight with a Gel Pen. Use Dimensionals on the back of his eyes. Draw on a scar with a Black Marker.

Happiness Butterfly
I made this card for my friend/co-worker's birthday this week using the Hostess set Happiness Always. I used the new In-Color Pacific Point cardstock as well as using Night of Navy cardstock. I thought the color combination went well together and of course, blue is my favorite color. Anyway, she loved her birthday card and blue is her favorite color too.

Santa's Favorite Christmas Cookies
I've already started thinking about making Christmas cards and I love making the recipe cards. When I saw the 'Deer Friends', Level 2 set I knew I wanted to use the Santa face to make my latest recipe card. I also used the new Bella Rose DSP and the set 'Heard from the Heart' for the "Welcome Christmas into Your Heart" as well as the new scallop edge punch.

Chicken Salad Recipe
The recipe is actually my friend Brenda's chicken salad recipe, but I did this for a swap so I figured if I didn't put my name on the recipe, they wouldn't know who Brenda was. LOL Anyway, I've made the recipe a couple times and it is very delicious if you like chicken salad like me. Here is the recipe if you cannot view it:
Chicken Salad by Nancy Endwright
4 chicken breasts
2 (3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened)
1 cup seedless grapes
1 c. Miracle Whip (mayo)
1 c. diced celery
¾ c. frozen peas, thawed
Cook chicken breasts. Cool. Remove from bone; shred. Mix cream cheese and mayo until blended. Set aside. Cut seedless grapes in half. Dice celery.
Combine chicken, grapes, celery and unthawed peas in bowl. Add mayo mixture and mix well.
Add more mayo to reach right consistency for chicken salad. Chill. Serve on chilled lettuce leaves.
The stamp set I used is "A Good Egg' which is a favorite set of mine and I'm so happy that is not retiring in August. The cardstock used is from the current In-Colors Wild Wasabi and Blue Bayou. The Designer Series Paper is Porcelain Prints. The ribbon is Blue Bayou double-stitched ribbon. I assume all will retire when the new catalog comes out. The recipe was typed on the computer and printed out on copy paper. I used the Scallop Punch and made "doodles" around the edge with the White Gel Pen and attached the little chicken with dimensionals. I hope you like my recipe card. I hope to start making a lot more of recipe cards using favorite recipes of mine and my friends.

Blue Bloomin' Beautiful
This is my new favorite set (Bloomin' Beautiful) from the Occasions Mini Collection on page 5. I used Black Stazon to stamp the whole flower and vase image onto Whisper White cardstock and colored and shaded it in with markers. Blue, of course is my favorite color. Then I stamped just the flower image on Whisper White cardstock. I colored the image in and cut it out and attached it to the first flower image with dimensionals. Then I stamped the image again with Black Stazon and colored it in, but cut out only parts of the flower and attached to the second flower image to give it dimension.

Cherry Tart
This is a gift card holder that I had my customers make at a recent workshop. It is made by cutting your cardstock at 4 1/4" x 11 and scoring it at 3", 5 1/2" and 8". Then you fold and crease the scored lines with a bone folder. Sticky strip was applied to the center sections but not the center fold, so that the two middle sections would adhere together. The fold in the middle was punched twice with the word window punch to create an opening for a gift card leaving on edge on either side of the fold. The Picnic DSP was cut at 2 3/4" x 4" and glued to the front with Mono-Adhesive. I also used the Scallop Punch and the 1 3/8" Circle Punch to punch out the cherries after I colored them in with markers. The Belly Band is 1" x 7 1/2" and used to wrap around the gift card holder.
Tart & Tangy
Hi Stampers,
I've had a busy month or so. I've been doing a few swaps with other demos and planning a few workshops. Here are some swaps I recently made with some of my demo friends in Indianapolis. They are gift card holders using the Tart & Tangy set on page 14 from the Occassion Mini and using the Picnic Designer Series Paper from page 16.

A Good Egg Basket
This little basket was made from a template I found on the Stampin' Up! website.
I love the set "A Good Egg" and I used the Porcelain Prints DS Paper to cover the front and back of the basket. I added the Wild Wasabi cardstock and made a scallop edge using the Slit punch and attaching the Blue Bayou double stitched ribbon. It's filled with Hershey kisses in a small cello bag. The idea was inspired by Andrea Walford.

Mailbox Tin
Finally found some time to stamp today. These are some tin mailboxes that I picked up at Target for a $1.00. At school this week we are going to be doing Crazy Cupids (sort of like Secret Pals) for just 4 days. I thought I'd make my pal some stamped items and hopefully, she won't guess it's me right away. I have been using this Valentine set a lot recently, but I just adore it especially the little mouse stamp.
I found the instructions from Emily Giovanni: http://emilygiovanni.com/?p=1520

Flip Tag Card - Open
I thought I'd better post a picture of what the Flip Tag Card looks like when it is open. I used the 5/8" Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon so that the tag can be pulled to open it. I forgot to mention that I stamped the image on the Rose Red Designer paper and cut out the heart to fit on top of the image I stamped on the Whisper White cardstock. I'd tried coloring it in first. Then I tried to emboss it and finally decided I'd like the DS paper the best.
Flip Tag Card
This month has really flown by and I thought it was time to post some of my current work. This is the first time I've made a Flip Tag Card and I thought it was a lot of fun. I found the instructions for making them by Phyllis Strickland. Although, I changed the measurements somewhat so that it would fit an envelope for my monthly swap group. Since it's almost Valentine's Day, I chose "Happy Heart Day" for the set as well as using the Floral Background. Cardstock is Rose Red, Regal Rose and Whisper White.
