This is the card that I created for my workshop yesterday. The technique is called an interlocking card made using the new Oval Framelit Dies. The bunny stamp is a single stamp that you can order called Ears To You #132659 which is available until March 31, 2013. The Rich Razzleberry card stock is 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 2 3/4" each on each side. Each side meets in the middle and I used the Sycamore Street DSP on each side cut at 2 1/2" x 4" and attached with Snail Adhesive. I used Summer Starfruit and Whisper White card stock for the rest of the card. I colored the bunnies with markers that match the DSP. I used the Delightful Dozen stamp set on page 140 of the catalog to stamp the verse "happy easter" on the inside.

Ears To You
This is an Easter card I made for my demo friend Dianne. She made the cute little bunny Easter card for me, so I wanted to return the favor. This is an interlocking card and on my next posting, I will show you a picture of another one I did at a workshop yesterday.
Butterflies
This is a card I created for a workshop I had yesterday. I wanted to use the butterfly punches (Elegant Butteryfly Punch #127526 from the Stampin' Up! catalog and Bitty Butterfly Punch #129406 from the Spring Catalog) and the Bigz Beautiful Butterflies Die #114507. The little "thank you" verse is from the set Pretty Petites stamp set in the Sale-a-bration brochure that I earned free with a $50 purchase and I used the Petite Curly Label Punch that I also earned from the SAB brochure to punch it out. The colors I used are Pretty in Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and whisper White. I added Pearl Basic Jewels #119247 for the body of the butterfly. The Old Olive background is by using the Honeycomb Embossing Folder #129378 in the Big Shot #113439. The Rich Razzleberry oval is from using the Oval Framelit Dies #129381 in the Big Shot.
Swallowtail on Parker's Patterns
Here is another Swallowtail card that I made using Parker's Patterns DSP, but inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest made by Ann Clemmer which I thought was such a cool idea. The base of my card is Daffodil Delight card stock with the a layer of Marina Mist run through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder #129378. The Swallowtail stamp was stamped with Stazon Jet Black ink pad #101406 onto the Parker's Pattern DSP #130121 on page 20 of the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog. Then I cut it out with Paper Snips and attached it to the front of my card. The Swallowtail stamp is too large to fit on a regular size A2 card, but it looks as though he is in flight on my card. I stamped the "For You" from the My Little Valentine stamp set and used the Small Oval Punch #120908 to punch it out and attach with a Dimensional #104430.
Swallowtail
Just love this Swallowtail stamp set from the Spring Mini on page 18. This butterfly was inspired by Patty Bennett on her watercoloring technique video. First, it was embossed on Shimmery White card stock #101910 using the Versamark Pad #102883 and Black Embossing Powder #109133 using the Heat Tool #129053. Then I used the Aqua Painter #103954 filled with water and used the refill inker colors Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Cajun Craze and Tangerine Tango on a plastic pallette to create this beautiful butterfly. The little tangerine oval was from the stamp set My Little Valentine that was offered in February. I wonder if it will make it to the next Stampin' Up! catalog. It is such a cute set. I used the Small Oval Punch #120908
to punch it out with.
Curly Cute Papillon Potpouri Butterflies
This is similar to a card I found on Pinterest that inspired me. The original card was made by Maggie Patterson, but I changed it up a bit. The base of my card is Not Quite Navy. Then I stamped butterflies from the Papillon Potpouri set in the Stampin' Up! catalog with Baja Breeze ink onto Baja Breeze card stock. The Designer Series Paper is called Patio Party. The big butterfly is cut out from Night of Navy card stock using the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die. Then I stamped a butterfly from the Papillon Poutpouri set onto Baja Breeze card stock and punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch #127526 and attached with Glue Dots #103683 to the Not Quite Navy butterfly. I attached Pearl Basic Jewels #119247 for the body of the butterfly. The verse "Thinking of You" is from the Curly Cute stamp set stamped with Not Quite Navy ink on Whisper White and attached to the front with 1/8" Silver Mini Brads #122941.
Delicate Details Lace Tape
This is was an idea from Jen Arkfeld and since I loved her design, I had to try out the new Delicate Details Lace Tape #130966 from the Spring Catalog for $9.95. There are two designs if the tape and it has a removeable adhesive on the back, so it can be used again. The colors I used on the Whisper White card stock were Pool Party, Baja Breeze and Island Indigo. I laid the tape in the middle and sponged with Pool Party, then I carefully removed the tape and laid it below and sponged it with Baja Breeze. Then at the bottom, I used Island Indigo. The base of the card is Island Indigo. The ribbon is Island Indigo from the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Bundle Pack earned from the Sale-a-Bration catalog for spending $50 in net sales. The greeting "Happy Birthday" is from the set Curly Cute.
