Arctic Bear

Years ago, Stampin' Up! had a beautiful bear stamp set called Polar Bears.  I no longer have that stamp set, but it was a favorite, but because it retired, I sold it.  So when I saw the new Arctic Bear set that will appear in the new July-December Mini on page 39, I had to preorder this month.  This is the card I made using the beautiful Peaceful Place DSP.

It is a new stamp set that will become available, on Tuesday. August 3.  It is called Arctic Bear and it also comes as a Bundle with the Polar Bear Dies on page 39.  I also used the new Peaceful Place 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper for the background.  Here are my instructions:

Stamp Set:  Arctic Bear

Cardstock:  Basic Black, Basic White, Peaceful Place Specialty DSP

Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Polar Bear Dies, Tasteful Labels Dies, Paper Snips, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals, Wink of Stella

1.     The base of the card is Basic Black cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The Peaceful Place Specialty DSP is cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the base of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut the icicle border die from Basic White cardstock using the Polar Bear Dies, and adhere to the upper left-hand corner with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Ink up the bear stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White cardstock.  Die-cut with the Polar Bear Dies and set aside.

5.    Cut Basic White cardstock at 2-1/2” x 4”.  Ink up the ice mound and stamp on the Basic White cardstock.  Trim it out with the Paper Snips and adhere to the bottom of the DSP.  Add the die-cut bear with Dimensionals.

6.    Ink up the sentiment “Thinking of You” on Basic White.  Use the Tasteful Labels Die to die-cut it out.  Use Dimensionals to adhere to the upper right-hand of the card.

The products for this card will be available on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from the Mini Catalog.

Be Jolly - Tower Card

Have you seen the tower cards that are popular right now?  This is the first one I made and I used the Be Jolly stamp set which is coming out on August 3.
Here is how I made my card:

Stamp Sets:  Be Jolly

Cardstock:  Tidings of Christmas DSP, Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Basic White

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Stampin’ Blends:  Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Ivory, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, Crumb Cake

Other:  Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Stampin Seal, Bone Folder, Multipurpose Glue

1.     The center (middle) of the tower card is the DSP cut at 4-1/4” x 4-1/2”.  At the 4-1/2” side, score every 1 inch.  Use the Bone Folder to burnish each fold.  Put adhesive on the ½” side to make a 1” square for the middle of the tower.

2.    Cut Basic White cardstock at 2-3/4” x 4-1/4” to adhere to each side.

3.    Cut DSP 2-3/4” x 4-1/4” (2 of each) unless you want a border, then cut them 2-1/4” x 4”.

4.    The Cherry Cobbler and Evening Evergreen are cut at 1-3/4” x 4-1/4” unless you want a border, then cut them at 1-1/2” x 4”.

5.    Ink up the stamps with Black Memento ink on Basic White cardstock.  Color them in with the Stampin’ Blends.  Fussy cut out each one and adhere with Multipurpose Glue to each panel.

6.    Ink up the sentiment for the sides with Memento Black ink.

7.    Card with fit in a regular size envelope.

The products I used will be available on August 3, 2021.

Snowbody Better

I've been having fun using my pre-order stamps this week.  I love snowman!  Paper ones especially.  This set is called Snowbody Better and it will be available August 3 from the July-August Mini Catalog.
The snowflakes in the background are iridescent foil snowflakes and come in a package of 24 already die-cut for you.   They measure about 2-3/*' x 2-3/4" each.

These are my instructions:

Stamp Set:  Snowbody Better

Cardstock:  Balmy Blue, Basic White, Wonderful Snowflakes

Ink:  Balmy Blue, Tuxedo Black Memento

Stampin’ Blends:  Balmy Blue, Pool Party, Just Jade, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Paper Snips, Glue Dots, Silicone Sheet, Dimensionals, Multipurpose Glue, Rhinestones, Wink of Stella Pen

1.     The base of the card is Balmy Blue cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.  Use the snowflake stamp in Balmy Blue ink to stamp randomly all over the front of the base card.
