Soft Seedlings - For You with Sponge Daubers

This card was cased from LeeAnn Greff, but I put more Cherry Cobbler on the ends of my leaf.  I didn't have the Festive Pearls to add to my card because they are on backorder.  I hope to order and add them soon.  I've had a lot of fun using different techniques with some of the awesome videos demos have posted such as Poppin Pastels, Watercolor Paper using Water Painters and refills, using the Sponge Daubers, etc.  I think this is going to be a popular set this year.  It doesn't come as a bundle but you could fuzzy cut the leaf on your cards if you desired.

Stamp Set:  Soft Seedlings

Cardstock:  Thick Very Vanilla, Soft Succulent, Cherry Cobbler

Ink:  Soft Succulent, Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Double Oval Punch, Sponge Daubers, 3/8” Gold Shimmer Ribbon, Festive Pearls, Stampin’ Seal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Thick Very Vanilla cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Soft Succulent cardstock cut at 3-3/4” x 5” and inserted into the Fall Leaf 3D Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    The Cherry Cobbler cardstock is cut at 2-7/8” x 3-7/8” and the Very Vanilla cardstock is cut at 2-3/4” x 3-3/4”.

4.    Ink up the leaf stamp with Soft Succulent ink (the lightest color first).  Add Cherry Cobbler with a Sponge Dauber on the ends of the little seedlings and tips of the leaf.  Then add a little bit of Evening Evergreen.

5.    Huff on it to remoisten the ink on the stamp and stamp onto the Very Vanilla cardstock.

6.    Layer the Cherry Cobbler layer on the card front at an angle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

7.    Add the leaf layer image in the middle but centered.

8.    Punch out a small Very Vanilla Oval and a Cherry Cobbler scallop oval.  Ink up the sentiment “For You” with Cherry Cobbler on the small Very Vanilla Oval.  In between the layers add the ribbon using Stampin’ Seal.  Use Dimensionals to add to the bottom left of the card.
