Simply Said - Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack

This is a birthday card using the Simply Said stamp set for the sentiment, but the layout was using the Wildflower Design Dies and the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack.  There are so many flowers from the pack that can be used with many different colors.  I made this card but was inspired by the layout from Julie DeGuia's card she posted on Facebook.

Stamp Set:  Simply Said

Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Petunia Pop, 6” x 6” In-Color DSP, Flowering Ephemera Pack

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder, Wildflower Design Dies, Hearts & Hugs Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Petunia Pop cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut using the largest Wildflower Design Die using the Petunia Pop In-Color DSP with stripes.  Adhere to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then flip over the center and adhere inside the largest die on the card.

4.    Die-cut the second die (scalloped) from Petunia Pop cardstock and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up.

5.    From the Flowering Ephemera sheet, use the flowers with the Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink rose.  Attach the Summer Splash leaves.  Adhere to the card with Stampin Dimensionals and Multipurpose Glue.

6.    Ink up the sentiment “Happy Birthday” from Simply Said stamp set on Basic White cardstock and die cut the label with the Hearts & Hugs Die.

7.    Attach the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
