Sophisticated Sled

This is a card that I made using the new Online Exclusive stamp set bundle called Sophisticated Sled that I was able to preorder this month.  It will be available to customers on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.  I know it's still summertime, but I love to get started making Winter or Christmas cards as soon as I can.  I used the Winter Meadows DSP that was carried over to the annual catalog this year.

Stamp Set:  Sophisticated Sled

Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, Silver Foil, and Winter Meadows DSP

Ink:  Blueberry Bushel

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Sophisticated Sled Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Faceted Gems Trio Pack, Baker’s Twine, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Shimmer Spray, and Glue Dots

1.     The base of the card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Winter Meadows DSP.  First cut two pieces at 4” x 5-1/4”.  Then cut length wise at 2”.  Then cut in half width at 2-1/2”.  Adhere to the base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue alternating the DSP on each side.

3.    Die-cut the sled frame from Early Espresso cardstock using the Sophisticated Sled Dies.

4.    Die-cut the sled top from Crumb Cake cardstock, die-cut the foliage and shoestrings from Blueberry Bushel cardstock, the skates from Basic White cardstock, the blades from Silver Foil.

5.    Attach the Crumb Cake sled to the frame with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Attach the foliage to the sled.

6.    Put the ice skates together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use the white twine to create the bow with the twine hanging down attaching to the back of the skates.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the skates.  Use Mini Stampin' Dimensional to attach White twine box.

7.    Ink up Let It Snow with Blueberry Bushel ink on Basic White cardstock and die-cut with Stylish Shapes Dies.  Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top.

8.    Attach three Faceted Gems to the card.

9.    I applied Shimmer Mist to make it sparkle!

Products available right now until July 3:
