BBQ Master Slider Card

I watched a video yesterday on how to make this secret slider card by Ronda.  I used different DSP but used the same stamp set.  The inside needs to get done first before you do the front.  See my instructions below.

Stamp Set:  BBQ Master

Cardstock:  Secret Sea, Basic White, Pecan Pie, Lunar Lustre, Lovely Blossoms DSP

Ink:  Secret Sea

Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, BBQ Master Dies, Nested Essential Dies, Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers, Paper Trimmer, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multipurpose Glue, and Glue Dots

1.     The base of the card is Secret Sea cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 2-1/8” on each end of the cardstock.

2.    Now, trim approximately ¼” on both sides to leave a gap a little larger than the Stampin’ Dimensionals.

3.    Cut two 3-1/4” x 4-1/4” Secret Sea cardstock layers.

4.    From the DSP, cut two side strips for the front at 1-5/8” x 5-1/4”.  Cut the opposite side of the DSP at 3” x 4”.

5.    Do the inside: Cut Basic White cardstock at 3-1/2” x 4-3/4”.  Add leftover strips of DSP for the inside.  Ink up “Grillin and Chillin” on the inside with Secret Sea ink.

6.    Adhere the 3” x 4” DSP to one of the Secret Sea Layers.

7.    Insert the other Secret Sea layer inside the center, but do not glue it down.

8.    Close the card and add three Stampin’ Dimensionals inside the open space at the top, middle, and bottom of the inside Secret Sea.  Now attach the layered DSP and Secret Sea to it.

9.    Die cut a large Basic White Essential Die rounded square and ink up “to the Grill Master” at the top right, leaving room for the grill on the left. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals

10.  Ink up the grill stamp on Basic White with Secret Sea ink and die cut with the grill die from the BBQ Master Dies.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

11.   Cut out two small hot dog dies from Pecan Pie.  Cut a tongs from Lunar Lustre paper.  Adhere them to the grill with Glue Dots.  Add Wonderful Stars Puffy Stickers.
