Notes of Spring and Nature's Symphony

This is a masculine card that I made for a swap last month.  It uses lots of new stamps, but this deer is from the March Product of the Month, called Notes of Spring.  It is still available and can be purchased for $5 with an order of $75 or more.  Below are my instructions for my card.

Stamp Sets:  Notes of Spring, Nature’s Symphony

Cardstock:  Pecan Pie, Basic White, Mossy Meadow, Nature’s Walk DSP

Ink:  Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow, Balmy Blue

Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies, Nature’s Symphony Dies, Lovely Arrangement Dies, Party Banner Dies, Multipurpose Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals and Earthy Matte Dots, Post-it Notes, Blender Brush, and Paper Snips

1.     The base of the card is Pecan Pie cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Nature’s Walk DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the base front.

3.    The third layer is made with the Party Banner Dies using the 8th from the largest in Pecan Pie cardstock and the layered one with Nature’s Walk DSP with the 9th from the largest. Layer together and attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4.    Die cut Mossy Meadow leaves from the Nature’s Symphony Dies.  Adhere to Banners.

5.    Using the Stylish Shapes Dies circles, die cut the 2nd from the largest using Basic White cardstock.

6.    Ink up the deer with Pecan Pie and stamp it on a post-it note, and trim out with the Paper Snips to create a mask.

7.    Then stamp the deer outline image on the White circle.  Use the 2-step image stamp to fill in the deer.  Use the deer mask to create the Mossy Meadow grass, and use a Blender Brush for the Balmy Blue sky.  Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8.    Attach 3 Earthy Matte Dots.

9.    Die cut a Pecan Pie sort of branch looking die.  Ink up “To a Great Guy” with Pecan Pie ink from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set.  Use the Lovely Arrangements label die to cut it out and adhere it to the bottom of the card.
