1. The base of the card is
Cajun Craze cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the
middle. On the left side of the card
front, using the Paper Trimmer, cut from the score line 1-1/2 down. Glue that flap down with Multipurpose Liquid
Glue. Adhere strip of DSP cut at 1-1/4”
x 4”.
2. Cut Lost Lagoon cardstock
at 3-3/4” x 4” and insert into the Seasonal Cheer Mini EF (leaves) and run
through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.
Adhere the embossed Lost Lagoon to the right front flap with Multipurpose
Liquid Glue.
3. Die-cut a Very Vanilla
gate with the Painted Pumpkins Dies. Use
a Blending Brush and Pecan Pie ink to color the gate. Attach the gate to the Lost Lagoon with Mini
Dimensionals. Cut hinges from Cajun
Craze cardstock and attach to the gate.
4. Masking: Take a half sheet of
Very Vanilla cardstock and insert it onto the Stamp Positioner, portrait style,
up against the notches. Start with Mask
#1. Put the little V-shaped notch at the top, and use a pencil to make a mark
where to line it up each time. Use the
magnets to hold it in place. With a
Blending Brush, ink up with Golden Glow ink and stamp off the excess on
scrap. Lightly blend over the mask. Now, take Mask #2 and line it up with the V,
and go a little darker with the Golden Glow ink. Mask #3, use Pecan Pie and lightly ink it
up. Mask #4: ink up the stems with
Peaceful Pine ink. Now, die-cut them
out. Adhere three of them in front of
the gate.
5. Inside: Cut Very Vanilla
cardstock at 3-3/4” x 8” and score at 4”.
Adhere 3-3/4” x 4” DSP to the front, making sure the score line is at
the bottom of the inside. Make a divot
at the top of it with the 1” Circle Punch.
Stamp sentiment with Cajun Craze ink.
