Seasonal Cheer Embossing Folder - Candy Canes

Here is the third card I made using Frenchie's video. I think this is my favorite of the three.

It is the same technique, but a gatefold card. I didn't add the ribbon, however. The Christmas Epoxy Shapes will be in the September-December Catalog # #168425 for $8.50.

Here are my instructions:

Stamp Set: Greetings for All Mix and March Ephemera Pack #164862

Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Real Red, and Basic White

Ink: Shaded Spruce, Real Red Stampin’ Blend

Other: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Christmas Epoxy Shapes, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1. The base of the card is Shaded Spruce cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 11” and scored at 1-1/2” and 3-1/2” at each end.

2. Inside, cut Real Red at 3-3/4” x 5-3 /8” and Basic White at 3-1/2” x 5-1/8” and adhere to the center of the card.

3. Cut two Basic White 1-7/8” x 5-3/8” and emboss them. Adhere to the inside panels.

4. On the front, the second layer is Basic White cardstock. Cut (2) at 1-7/8 x 5-3/8”

5. The third layer is Real Red cardstock. Cut (2) at 1-3/8” x 5-1/4”. Layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhere to both front panels.

6. Cut (2) Basic White cardstock at 1-7/8” x 5-3/8” and insert into the embossing folder. On the debossed side, use the Real Red Stampin’ Blends to make stripes on the candy canes. Now, take the Shaded Spruce ink pad with it flat and drag it across the debossed side. Add to the side front panels when dry

7. Cut Real Red cardstock cut at 1-1/4” x 3” and adhere to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the left side only. Adhere the sentiment “Merry Christmas” with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add 3 of the candy canes from the Christmas Epoxy Shapes.
