Pigs Can Fly

Don't you just love this little flying pig?  I created this card for a swap I'm in this month.  The theme was "Anything with Wings" so why not a pig with wings?  The stamp is from the set "This Little Piggy" in the 2019-20 Stampin' Up! annual catalog.
Here is the instructions for my card:

Stamp Set:  This Little Piggy
Cardstock:  Rich Razzleberry, Petal Pink, Whisper White
Ink:  Memento Black
Stampin’ Blends:  Dark and Light Petal Pink, Dark and Light Rich Razzleberry
Other:  Big Shot, Subtle Embossing Folder, Layering Circles Dies, Banner Triple Punch, Dimensionals, Multipurpose Glue, Wink of Stella

1.     The base of the card is Rich Razzleberry cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.
2.    The second layer is Petal Pink cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Subtle Embossing Folder and run through the Big Shot.  Adhere to the front of the card with Multipurpose Glue.
3.    The banner is Rich Razzleberry cardstock cut 2” x 5” and inserted into the Banner Triple Punch and adhered to the center of the card with Multipurpose Glue.
4.    Using the Layering Circles Dies in the Big Shot, cut the largest scalloped circle die from Rich Razzleberry cardstock.  Cut second to the largest circle die from Whisper White cardstock.
5.    Ink up the “flying pig” stamp with Memento Black ink and stamp it on the Whisper White circle die.
6.    Color the pig in with the Stampin’ Blends and use the Wink of Stella on his wings, hooves, snoot and curly tail.  Attach to the scalloped circle with Multipurpose Glue.
7.    Put Dimensionals on the back and adhere over the banner.

Butterfly Gala - Balmy Blue

After the freezing temperatures we've had this week in the Midwest, I'm ready for Spring but it's still only the last day in January.  This card made me think of Spring and made me happy.   It was inspired by a card that I saw on Pinterest by Dawn Griffith.  Blue is my favorite color and I need lots of "thank you" cards.
Here are the instructions for my card:

1. The base of my card is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 5-1/2" in the middle.
2.  The second layer is Whisper White cardstock cut at 4" x 5-1/4" and adhered to the front of the Night of Navy card.
3. The third layer is Balmy Blue cardstock cut at 3-3/4" x 5" but it is first inserted into the Subtle Embossing Folder and run through the Big Shot.
4.  I then took  2" x 5" of the Botanical Butterfly DSP from the SAB catalog that can be earned FREE with a $50 order.  I colored it in with the Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends.  I inserted it into the Banner Triple Punch at one end.  I then wrapped the Night of Navy Gingham ribbon around it before layering onto the front of my card.
4.  I stamped the double butterfly stamp that matched the DSP with Memento Black ink and colored them in with the Stampin' Blends and their bodies with Memento Black ink.  I then used the Butterfly Duet Punch to punch them out.
5.  I die cut a scallop Night of Navy using the Layering Ovals Framelits.  I stamped the sentiment on Whisper White and die cut it with the Stitched Oval Shapes.  I layered them together and adhered over the ribbon with Dimensionals.
6.  I adhered the small butterfly with a Glue Dot and the larger butterfly with Snail and a Dimensional.

Truly Tailored Fox

This was a card my club members made at our workshop.  It would make a great birthday or Father's Day Card for that special guy in your life..  The base of the card is Chocolate Chip which is retiring the end of May, 2018.  The True Gentlemen DSP is also retiring from the Occasions Catalog.  The ink color I used was Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla cardstock using the Truly Tailored stamp set (also retiring).  The Punches I used, are the Tailored Tag Punch, Fox Builder Punch, and the Banner Triple Punch.  This card was inspired by Erica Cerwin

Easter Basket - Hello, Spring

Rather than an Easter Basket, I made a Spring bouquet for my basket.  I love daffodils, and although there are other flowers in this Easter ...
