Something to Say - Sea Street

This is another masculine card I made that was inspired by Janet Holmes, but I used different stamp sets.  I used Something to Say and Sea Street.  The base of the card is Island Indigo, and also uses the Adventure Bound Designer Series Stack (soon to retire).  I also used Sahara Sand cardstock. The ink is Island Indigo.  I also the Banner Punch, 1" Circle Punch, and 1 1/4" Circle Punch, and a Silver Mini Brad.

By the Tide

This is a masculine card I made but cased it from Janet Holmes.  I just love how she used the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack (soon to retire).  She used the Guy Greetings but I used the Wetlands stamp set.  It also uses the set By the Tide.  The cardstock colors are Basic Gray, Whisper White.  The ink colors are Smoky Slate, Island Indigo, and Memento Black.  The Baker's Twine finishes off.

Best Thoughts

This is a card I made using the new gorgeous hostess set called Best Thoughts that is in the new 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! catalog.  The colors are from the new In-Colors and called Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder.  The 1" Dotted Lace Trim is also new and the color is Cucumber Crush.
The background is a new embossing folder called Boho Chic.   I stamped the flower with the Classic Watermelon Wonder and then used Clear Embossing Powder on it.  I colored in the stem with the Cucumber Crush marker and added the ribbon with a Glue Dot.  The new catalog starts on June 2!!

Happy Graduation

This was another card we made at my workshop using the Celebrate Today stamp set from the 2015 Occasions catalog.  It is a Photopolymer set.  The idea came from a swap I received from Audrey.  I gave my guests a choice as to whether they wanted it to be Happy Graduation or Happy Birthday.  The base of the card is Real Red cut at 4 1/4" x 11 and scored and 5 1/2" and 2 3/4". I also used  Basic Black and Whisper White.  The inside of the card says "Celebrate". For the birthday card, we used Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine for the tail using a Glue Dot.

Father's Day Vest

Today, my workshop was a Father's Day Vest Card.  The idea came from a swap from Frances Wagner.  They really turned out cute.  We made them using the Envelope Punch Board, and using the Adventure Bound DSP Stack  #132708 (soon to retire).
We stamped "Happy Father's Day" inside using the Crazy About You stamp set, and used the Basic Metal Buttons #133319 with Glue Dots.
We made the Bow Tie using the Bow Builder Punch.

Sprinkles of Life

This is a card I made using the Sneak Peek stamp set that I was able to order for being a demo this month.  The set is called "Sprinkles of Life" and it is the new Ronald McDonald stamp set in the new catalog that comes out in June 2015. If you buy the Sprinkles for Life set, Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to RHMC.  The Ronald McDonald House keeps families together and surrounded by love when their children are receiving medical treatment far from home.  You might notice a few new colors in my card.  Some of these are the new In-Colors Collection for 2015-2017.  The background DSP is from the new Cherry on Top DSP Stack that has 48 sheets, 4 designs each of 12 double-sided designs.  Paper Stacks are 6" x 6" this year.

Wetlands

This is a card I did for a masculine swap this month using the Wetlands stamp set.  The base of the card is Early Espresso and the next layer is Crumb Cake which was used in the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  I stamped the good on Very Vanilla cardstock with Early Espresso ink and then masked him to stamp the tall grass behind him with Always Artichoke ink.  I also colored the goose with the Aqua Painter and Early Espresso ink and layered them together over a small strip of Early Espresso cardstock also used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  I stamped "Thinking of You" on Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso ink and punched it out with the Oval Punch.  Then I used the Scallop Oval Punch on Early Espresso cardstock and layered the them together using Dimensionals to pop them up.

Pacific Point Butterfly

This is a card that I made for this month's swap "Cards with Wings" theme.  It was a very easy card to make, but elegant card too. I used the Butterflies Thinlets Die.   The verse "good wishes your way" is from the Lovely Amazing You set that is Photopolymer and comes in a set of 8 #140594. The color is Pacific Point and Whisper White.

Yuletide Village with Frosted Forest trees in an arch

This is the card that I used for my monthly November swap.  The theme was "Christmas Card" but although there is no message on the...
