St. Patrick's Day A Nice Cuppa

This is totally a case from Maria Fennelly's video, but just had to make one to show you how beautiful this card is using A Nice Cuppa stamp set in the 2016 Occasions catalog.

  • The base of the card is Mint Macaron cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and the front of the card inserted into the Woodgrain TIEF and run through the Big Shot.
  • With the Big shot, cut out two Whisper White and two Cucumber Crush cups and also two of the tea kettle.  Trim off the handle and top and bottom of the Cucumber Crush cup and glue it to the white cup. For the other white cup, you will have the handle on the left.
  • For the kettle, do the same as you did for the cups, and handle will be on the left.
  • Punch out an Extra Large Oval of Whisper White and a Large Oval of Cucumber Crush to represent the saucer.  Glue cup to the saucer and insert them into the Elegant Dots TIEF and run it through the Big Shot.  Attach to the bottom right side of the card.
  • Punch out 4 or 5 of the flowers from Itty Bitty Pack Punches.  With the Paper Snips, trim the leaf to represent a stem to create a shamrock. Attach to the top of the cup. Add the Gold Wink of Stella to the shamrocks.
  • Attach a Doily in the top left corner and trim off excess to square with the card with Paper Snips.
  • Tie a 1" Dotted Lace Trim bow to the corner of the Doily.
  • Stamp with Versamark ink "Happy St. Patrick's Day" on the Botanical Gardens Vellum (SAB)
  • Sprinkle Gold Embossing Powder on it and heat set with the Heat Tool.
  • Use the Note Tag Punch to punch it out as well as from Cucumber Crush cardstock.  Attach vellum tag to green tag and adhere underneath the ribbon with adhesive.
  • With the Big Shot, cut out a spoon from the Gold Foil. Attach to the front of the card.
  • For the inside, you need to cut Whisper White cardstock at 5-1/4" x 8" and folded in the middle at 4".
  • Using the Paper Trimmer, put the folded edge up to the Trimmer, and at 1-1/2" cut 1" vertically, then at 2", cut 1" vertically, then 3" at 1" vertically, then 3-1/2" and cut 1" vertically to create the slits of your pop up.  Attach the kettle on the top left side of the slit with adhesive so to appear as it is pouring.  Glue the cup to the right of the bottom slit.
  • Stamp "You are Tea-riffic" in the top right corner with Cucumber Crush ink.
  • Attach the pop up to the card on side at a time with adhesive making sure it will open, then glue down the other side.

Sprinkles of Life - Tree and Flowers

This is another Sprinkles of Life card that I made using the Tree Builder Punch.  The base of the card is one of the new In-Colors called Mint Macaron, layered with another new In-color called Cucumber Crush.  The third layer is from the Cherry on Top DSP Stack and I used the 2" Circle Punch to create a hole for the tree and flowers to peek through.  I stamped the tree trunk with the new In-Color Tip Top Taupe on Whisper White cardstock., and stamped the flowers with Cucumber Crush and another new In-Color called Delightful Dijon.  I stamped the tree with Cucumber Crush and punched three of them out with the Tree Builder Punch to create a bigger tree.  Then added a new In Color Delightful Dijon Blossom Accent for one of the flowers.  I stamped the birds on Delight Dijon cardstock with the coordinating ink pad and punched them out with the Tree Builder Punch.  At the top of my card I created a banner using the new Triple Banner Punch and stamped "I'm so Lucky to Call You My Friend" and added the new Cucumber Crush 1" Dotted Lace Trim using Snail Adhesive underneath it.

Best Thoughts

This is a card I made using the new gorgeous hostess set called Best Thoughts that is in the new 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! catalog.  The colors are from the new In-Colors and called Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder.  The 1" Dotted Lace Trim is also new and the color is Cucumber Crush.
The background is a new embossing folder called Boho Chic.   I stamped the flower with the Classic Watermelon Wonder and then used Clear Embossing Powder on it.  I colored in the stem with the Cucumber Crush marker and added the ribbon with a Glue Dot.  The new catalog starts on June 2!!

Glow of Harvest with Painted Pumpkins

This is a card using the Designer Series Paper Glow of Harvest, which was $5 with an order of $75 or more.   Then, I used the masks to make ...
