Spiral Dye and Party Puffin

This is a cute, adorable Party Puffins stamp set in the new 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog that I used with the new Spiral Dye background stamp.  I used my ink pads to adhere the ink using Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point, but I used the Grandy Green Stampin' Write Marker to add to it using the brush side of the marker.  You can always add more ink with the Stamparatus.  You could also use a Dauber to add inks.

Here are my instructions:

Stamp Sets:  Spiral Dye and Party Puffins

Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Basic White

Ink:  Memento Black (or Stazon), Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green Marker

Other:  Stamparatus, Paper Snips, Paper Trimmer, Banners Pick A Punch, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Pacific Point cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.

3.    The third layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 3-3/4” x 5” and inserted into the Stamparatus.

4.    Ink up the stamp with a Daffodil Delight ink pad in two places.  Then Pacific Point is two places.  Use the Granny Apple Green marker to ink up part of the stamp with the brush side.  Re-ink if necessary using the Stamparatus.

5.    Make a banner using the Banners Pick a Punch with Basic White and then 1” Daffodil Delight cardstocks to layer.  Ink up the sentiment “Make a Wish” with Pacific Point ink on the 1/2” Basic White banner.

6.    Ink up the puffin stamp with Memento Black or Stazon ink on Basic White cardstock.  Cut it out with the Paper Snips.  Color it in with coordinating Stampin’ Write Markers being careful not to get it in the black ink depending on which ink pad you use.  Or use the Stampin’ Blends instead of the markers with the Memento Black ink.

7.    Put Dimensionals on the back and adhere to the front of the card.
