Cheerful Basket - Cat and Butterflies

I love this stamp set and I have a black cat called Milo, so I had to add the cat to this card especially since it comes with this set - Cheerful basket.  I thought I try to add the flowers by cutting the Hues of Happiness DSP.  Here are my instructions:

Stamp Set:  Cheerful Basket

Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Basic Gray, Basic White, Hues of Happiness DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Stampin’ Blends:  Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Full Basket Dies, Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Mini Dimensionals, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

1.     The base of the card is Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Hues of Happiness DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut the base basket from Crumb Cake cardstock and the outside basket from Soft Suede cardstock.  Glue together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Die-cut the flower bouquet from the Hues of Happiness DSP.  Adhere Dimensionals to the back and adhere to the front of the card.

5.    Ink up the cat stamp with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamp on the Basic Gray cardstock.  Die-cut with the Full Baskets Dies cat.  Adhere Dimensionals.

6.    Ink up the butterfly stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento and color with the Stampin’ Blends.  Die-cut them out and adhere with Mini Dimensionals.

7.    Ink up the sentiment “Sending You Some Get Well Wishes” on Daffodil Delight cardstock cut 5/8” x 3-1/2”.  Trim to make banner ends with the Paper Snips.  Put Dimensionals on the back and adhere to the top front of the card.

Cheerful Basket

This is a card I made with the new stamp set from the annual catalog called Cheerful Basket.  It makes a great fall card with the apples.  There is even hearts, craft, and a cute little cat.  Here are my instructions for this card:

Stamp Set:  Cheerful Basket

Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Poppy Parade, Early Espresso, Soft Suede, and Basic White

Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Early Espresso, and Soft Suede

Stampin’ Blends:  Granny Apple Green, So Saffron, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder, Timber Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes, Full Basket Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Poppy Parade cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and inserted into the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Adhere to the front.

3.    The floor is 1” of Crumb Cake inserted into the Timber Embossing Folder and adhered to the bottom of the card.

Beauty Abounds - Happy Birthday in Gorgeous Grape

After looking at all the blog hops from Monday, I found a thank you card that inspired me to make a birthday card with the same layout but different colors.  I was inspired by Beth McCullough's thank you card on the blog hop.

Stamp Set:  Happiness Abounds

Cardstock:  Gorgeous Grape, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Hues of Happiness DSP

Ink:  Gorgeous Grape

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Blossoming Happiness Dies, Basic Borders Dies, Stylish Shapes, Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folder, Glossy Dots Assortment, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Gorgeous Grape cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    From 1-1/2” from the bottom, use the Basic Borders Dies to die-cut a scalloped edge.

3.    Cut Fresh Freesia cardstock at 2-1/2” x 5-1/2” and send through the Splatter Embossing Folder.  Use the Basic Borders Dies to cut off the edge and layer on top of the first scalloped layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue so that you see both scalloped edges.

4.    Die-cut the flowers from the DSP using the Blossoming Happiness Dies. Use Dimensionals to adhere them to the flap.  Add the leaves with Multipurpose Liquid Glue behind the flowers.

5.    Add 3 of the Gloss Dots Assortments.

6.    For the inside:  Cut Basic White cardstock at 1-3/4” x 5-1/4” and adhere to the top with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

7.    Cut the Hues of Happiness DSP at 2-1/4” x 5-1/4” and adhere to the bottom inside so that it shows on the front of the card.

8.    Ink up the “Happy Birthday” sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink on Fresh Freesia cardstock.  Die-cut with the Stylish Shapes banner die.  Adhere with Dimensionals on the DSP at the bottom center.
