Happy Retirement Waterfall Card


This is a card I made for my club member friend who retired from public schools this year.  I saw 
 Tina Wardell's video on how to make this card and wanted to recreate it for my friend.

Stamp Sets:  Senior Years, Friends of the Forest, Peaceful Moments, In the Moment

Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight, Basic White, SAB 2022 Sunshine & Rainbows DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento, Stampin’ Blends

Other:  Paper Trimmer, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Playful Alphabet Dies, Simply Scoring Tool, Delightful Tag Topper Punch, Ribbon, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Tear and Tape,

 

1.     The base of the card is Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the SAB Sunshine & Rainbows DSP cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” and attach to the base of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    The Pull tab is 2” x 11” but will be trimmed to fit.  Score at 2”, 2-3/8”, 2-1/4”, 3-1/8”, 3-1/2”, 3-7/8” 4-1/4”, and 4-5/8” using the Simply Scoring Tool.

4.    The Belly Band is Daffodil Delight cut at 1” x 4-1/2” and adhered 1” from the bottom.

5.    The Daffodil Delight greeting mats are cut at 2” x 2”.

6.    The Basic White greetings are 1-7/8” x 1-7/8”.
