Sweet Songbirds - Happy Mother's Day

I've seen several cards made with the baby birds so I had to make one of my own.  It's a little late for a Mother's Day card, but it could be a single baby bird or however many you need for a new baby card.
I made the cloud template using the Basic Borders Dies.  Here are my instructions:

Stamp Sets; Sweet Songbirds, Celebrating You

Cardstock:  Tahitian Tide, Basic White, Pumpkin Pie, 2022-2024 6” x 6” In-Color Glimmer Paper

Ink:  Tahitian Tide, Crumb Cake, Tuxedo Black Memento, Parakeet Party

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Songbird Builder Punch, Basic Borders Dies, Paper Snips, Blending Brush, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Tahitian Tide cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic White cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”.  Make a cloud template with the Basic Border Dies. Use the Blending Brush and Tahitian Tide ink to make the clouds.

3.    Ink up the branches with Crumb Cake.  Ink up the leaves with Parakeet Party.

4.    On a scrap of Basic White, ink up the nest with Crumb Cake and cut it out with the Paper Snips, Ink up four of the little wings with Tahitian Tide to represent the baby birds with Pumpkin Pie beaks punched from the Songbird Builder punch.  Adhere to the nest with adhesive.  Put Dimensionals on the back of the bird nest and attach it to the bottom tree limb.

5.    Ink up the mother bird stamp with Tahitian Tide ink.  Punch out with the Songbird Builder Punch.  Punch out a Pumpkin Pie beak and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

6.    Punch out a Tahitian Tide Glimmer Paper for the mother’s wing.  Attach with a Dimensional.  Add the mother bird with Dimensionals.

7.    Ink up the sentiment “Happy Mother’s Day” from the Celebrating You stamp set with Tahitian Tide ink and stamp in the upper right in the clouds.
