Charming Sentiments - Birthday Card

This is a birthday card that I made for one of my club members who has a birthday this month.  I wanted to use the host DSP called Design & Daydream.  I decided to use Blackberry Bliss for the base of the card.  Here are my instructions for this card:

Stamp Set:  Charming Sentiments Bundle

Cardstock:  Blackberry Bliss, Basic White, Design & Daydream DSP

Ink:  Blackberry Bliss

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Charming Sentiments Dies, Layering Circles Dies, Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

1.     The base of the card is 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.  Then cut off 1-1/4” off the right front.

2.    From the Design & Daydream DSP, cut a 4” x 4” and adhere to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut a Blackberry Bliss scallop circle from the Layering Circles Dies.

4.    Die-cut a DSP circle from the Layering Circles Dies.  Layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Add Dimensionals to the back and adhere to the front of the card.

5.    Die-cut a candle from Blackberry Bliss cardstock and a flame from Daffodil Delight.  Add to the circle layers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

6.    Ink up the sentiment “Wishing You the Happiest of Birthdays” with Blackberry Bliss on Basic White cardstock.  Die-cut with the coordinating Charming Sentiments Die and die-cut a Blackberry Bliss too. Layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Add Dimensionals to each side and adhere to the front of the card.

7.    For the inside, cut the DSP at 2” x 4” and adhere to the inside right.  Cut Basic White cardstock at 3” x 4” and ink up the sentiment “Because You Totally Deserve it?” with Blackberry Bliss ink.  Adhere inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
