Perched in a Tree using Rings of Love DSP

This is a card that I made for my Fall Swap this month.  I loved the Rings of Love DSP trees and thought it went well with the Perched in a Tree stamp set. This set comes as a bundle with the Aspen Tree Dies.  I love all the sentiments in the stamp set.  I also used the 3D Fall Leaf Embossing Folder.  Here are the instructions for my card:

Stamp Set:  Perched in a Tree

Cardstock:  Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Rings of Love DSP

Ink:  Soft Suede

Other: Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine,3D Fall Leaf Embossing Folder, Aspen Tree Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Soft Suede cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 2-1/8” on each side.  Use the Bone Folder to burnish the score lines.

2.    Cut the Rings of Love DSP at 1-3/4’ x 5-1/4” each.  Adhere to the front sides with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut a Deckled Rectangle Die from Soft Suede cardstock using the 5th from the largest.  Insert it into the 3D Fall Leafs Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.  Put Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the left half so it adheres to the left side of the card.

4.    Then, die-cut a Deckled Rectangle die from Crumb Cake using the smallest one.  Ink up the sentiment “Your Kindness Warms my Hearts” with Soft Suede ink.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the left side of it and adhere to the Soft Suede Deckled Rectangle Die.

5.    Ink up the bird and the branch on Crumb Cake cardstock using Soft Suede ink.  Die-cut both using the Aspen Tree Dies.  Adhere the tree branch to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the left side.  Add Dimensionals to the bird and adhere it to the branch.
