Candy Corn Gnome

This is a card that I cased from Julie Gibson because it was so darn cute and she is so talented.  I changed just a few things, but not much.  I named him Candy Corn Gnome because his hat looks like candy corn.  It was fun to make this Halloween card.  I like to send Halloween cards to my grandchildren.

Stamp Set:
Kindest Gnomes, Hello Harvest, Scary Cute

Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Basic White, 6” x 6” Regals Designer Series Paper

Ink:  Cajun Craze

Stampin’ Blends:  Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder, Deckled Rectangles, Gnome Dies, Rustic Pumpkin Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, White Crinkled Seam Binding, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals, and Fine Sparkled Adhesive Backed Gems

1.     The base of the card is Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The Basic White layer is 3-3/4” x 5” and inserted into the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder and run it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine twice. Layer on Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Cut another Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut at 3-1/8” x 4-3/8” and layer DSP cut at 3” x 4-1/4”.

4.    Use the Pumpkin Pie Blend on the White Crinkled Seam Binding to make it Pumpkin Pie instead of white.

5.    Cut a Basic White Deckled Rectangle and layer it onto both layers.  Wrap the ribbon around the layers and make a bow on the left side.

6.    Ink up the pumpkin from Hellos Harvest and color it in with the Pumpkin Pie Blend and Crumb Cake on the Stem.  Die-cut with the Rustic Pumpkin Dies.  Attach with Dimensionals to the ride side.

7.    Die-cut the Gnome using Pumpkin Pie cardstock for his feet and nose, and Basic White cardstock for his beard.

8.    Cut Basic White 2” x 2-1/4” and attach ¾” x 2” of Daffodil Delight, and ¾” x 2” of Pumpkin Pie with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Die-cut his candy corn hat with the Gnome Dies.  Put him together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Dimensionals on the back and attach to the left side.

9.    Ink up the sentiment “Trick or Treat, You’re So Sweet” with Cajun Craze ink on Basic White cardstock, and die-cut it out with the Stylus Shapes Banner and attach to the Pumpkin.

10.  Add three Fine Sparkled Adhesive Gems.
