Autumn Trees Gate-Fold Card

Sorry, that I am now posting this card.  I think the stamp set Autumn Trees retired but you can always use the gate-fold card and another tree stamp and DSP to create this card.  I learned the technique from Sunny Day Stamping.

Stamp Set:  Autumn Trees, Simply Said

Cardstock:  Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Autumn Toile DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento or Early Espresso

Stampin’ Blends:  Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie

Other:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Simply Scored, Stylish Shapes Dies, Autumn Trees Dies, Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread Pack, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

1.     The card base is Mossy Meadow cut at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”.

2.    The Fun Fold layer is also Mossy Meadow cut at 5-1/4” x 7-1/4” and scored at 1-3/8”, 2-1/2”, 4-3/4” and 5-7/8” on the long side.

3.    Cut the Autumn Toile DSP at 4” x 5-1/4” for the base.  Adhere with Multipurpose Glue.

4.    Cut the front strips at 1-1/8” x 5” and inside strips at 7/8” x 5” and adhere with Multipurpose Glue.

5.    The Basic White cardstock on the inside is 2” x 5” and you can also cut one for the back at 4” x 5-1/4”.  Ink up the inside Basic White with the rocks and foliage stamps and color in with the Blends.  Ink up “Just a Note” from Simply Said with Tuxedo Black Memento and stamp above the rocks.  Adhere.

6.    Stamp the tree on Basic White cardstock and color in the trunk and branches with Pecan Pie Blends.  Color the tree leaves with Mossy Meadow Blends. Die cut with the Autumn Tree Dies.  Use Stampin' Dimensionals to add to the left side of the fun fold section only.

7.    Ink up “Hello” from Simply Said on Basic White label from Stylish Shapes Dies and adhere to the right center of the tree.  Add Linen Thread with Streaked Dots.
