Work of Art with Butterflies

This is a card I made similar to cards I've seen on Pinterest so I wanted to create one of my own using the Work of Art stamp set and the Bitty Butterfly punch.  I also used the Label Bracket punch because after I had my card all done and stamped "You are a fabulous work of art" it left an edge of ink on my card that was not intended to be there.  So this punch fit exactly over the mistake.
I love how you can always cover up those mistakes somehow and the card still looks great, or at least I thought it turned out pretty good.  The ink colors I used were Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Pacific Point which are all from the Brights Collection.  I used the same colors of cardstock for the butterflies and added a Pearl Basic Jewel to each one.  The base of my card is Tangerine Tango with a layer of Basic Black and then I stamped on the Whisper White.

Berry Basket with Trim

Just can't get enough of making these berry baskets with the Berry Basket Bigz Die on page 21 of the 2015 Occasions Catalog.  They are so much fun to make and so many ideas to create them.  This time, I used the DSP Subtles Series Paper Stacks for the trim and liner of this basket.  It is held together using the Stapler from the 2015 Occasions Catalog on page 21.  I also stamped on Whisper White cardstock stamps From the Garden stamp set and cut them out with the Hand-Picked Framelit Dies.  Both of these can be purchased as a bundle to save 15% on page 20 of the 2015 Occasions Catalog.

Berry Basket with Strawberries

Today, my club members and I made this cute little strawberry basket and it was a big hit!  It was really fun to make using the Berry Basket Bigz Die from the 2015 Occasions Catalog.  We made the basket out of Crumb Cake cardstock and used the Hardwood Background Stamp to make it look like a wooden basket.  We stapled our scallop trim to the basket with the new Stapler from the Occasions Catalog.  The strawberries were made from a pattern I found HERE  using Real Red Cardstock, but for the Garden Green stem we used a die from the Flower Flair Thinlets.  We embossed the strawberries with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  We put a Hershey's kiss inside each strawberry.  We used Baker's Twine to gather the strawberry and stem together.  It is not in the picture, but we added some hand-picked signs inside our baskets from the Hand-Picked Framelit Dies also from the Occasions Catalog.

Tea Party

This another Tea Party card I stamped with this set.  The base of the card is Perfect Plum.  The other colors are Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding and Whisper White.  The embossing folders are Perfect Polka Dots and Chevron.  It also includes a Tea Lace Doily and using the Ovals Collection Framelit Dies.

Indescribable Gift

Here is a card I made for a demo friend for her birthday which is today.  I used the Indescribable Gift set from the 2015 Occasions catalog.  I stamped it with Versamark on Whisper White cardstock and then used Whisper White Embossing Powder on it.  Then I used my Aqua Painters and Strawberry Slush and Garden Green ink.

Swallowtail

I stamped the Swallowtail stamp on 4 1/4" x 11" Whisper White cardstock with Memento ink.  I colored it in with my Daffodil Delight marker and Blendability (retired). I cut out the right side of the butterfly to open the card with the butterfly wing..  I stamped it again on another Whisper White and colored it in but cut out a partial butterfly and attached over the first butterfly to appear he is in flight.  I used Pear Pizzazz to add the leaves from Butterfly Basics by stamping off on scrap and then on to get a softer color.  On the inside I stamped a verse "When my mind wanders, I usually find it somewhere thinking of you" which is from the hostess set Bloom with Hope.

Tea Party

Finally used my Tea Party card that has been on my shelf since I bought it and never used.  I also never used my Delicate Design Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I wanted to make a Shabby Chic type of card using Stampin Up! items.  This is not really my style, but a friend of mine's granddaughter is having a bridal tea party soon and wanted to see some samples.  The color she wanted was  pink, so why not use Blushing Bride cardstock, of course.  I also used Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.  The background stamp is from the 2015 Occasions Catalog called Something Lacy which I thought would be perfect for my card.  I sponged the edges with Soft Suede to give it a more vintage look.

Painted Petals

This is a card I made for a swap in March.  The colors are Blackberry Bliss and Wild Wasabi.
The stamp set Painted Petals is from the 2015 Occasions Catalog.  The stamp set has 13 stamps but mine actually had 18 when they first manufactured them.  I had to align the flowers, leaves and stems separately which involved 7 stamps.  So if you order this set now, it will be much easier now that it only has 13 stamps. The Designer Series Paper is from the 2015 Occasions Catalog called Painted Blooms.  The ribbon is the 3/8" Stitched Satin Blackberry Bliss.

Painted Petals

This is a quick and easy card using the Painted Petals stamp sets.  The colors are Garden Green, Blackberry Bliss, and Daffodil Delight.  The ribbon is the 3/8" Stitched Blackberry Bliss.  I picked up a little bit of Daffodil Delight ink on the stamp and then Blackberry Bliss for the flowers. The leaves are Garden Green.  It was all stamped on a 2" Whisper White tag using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch.
The Blackberry Bliss cardstock was inserted into the Spring Flowers TIEF through the Big Shot.
