Jar of Haunts Caramel Apple

This is a similar card I saw on Julie Pitta's website so wanted to try to make one of my own. The base of my card is Basic Black Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11".  I then cut a 4" x 5-1/4" of the Halloween Night Specialty DSP for the second layer.  The stamp set I used was Jar of Haunts.  I stamped the pumpkin stamp on Pear Pizzazz card stock.  It cut it out with the Paper Snips,  and then turned it over and used a Blender Pen to color the "green apple" with Wild Wasabi ink, and then I stamped the oozing stamp on Crumb Cake and colored in with Soft Suede.  I then attached it to the top my apple to create a "caramel apple" but it is more like a spooky treat. I placed a cut off skewer stick behind the apple. I put it inside a 2" x 8" Cellophane bag and wrapped the Halloween Night Baker's Twine around it.  I attached the wrapped apple to the front using Tear and Tape.  Then I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black on 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" Whisper White cardstock and layered it on 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" Basic Black cardstock.  Now I'm starting to feel hungry for a delicious caramel apple.  I may have to run to the apple orchard!

Apple of My Eye - Plums

Just had to make another card using Apple of My Eye before it retires this month.  This time,  I created plums instead of apples or peaches.  I used Cherry Cobbler ink on my plums and then sponged it with Perfect Plum which would only make sense to use that color since I was making plums!  I used the White Gel Pen to make a line on my plums to make it look more natural.  The base of my card is Cherry Cobbler card stock  with Blushing Bride card stock as my second layer.   I sponged Blushing Bride ink with plastic wrap to give it a different background effect.  The DSP is Wild Wasabi from the Subtles Collection and I added a doily.  I stamped "You are made of Wonderful" on Blushing Bride card stock and cut it out with the Cards/Labels Framelits.  The leaves are also Wild Wasabi ink stamped on Whisper White card stock.

Hello Sheltering Tree

I created this card using the new Hello Sale-a-Bration stamp set and the Sheltering Tree.
I've seen lots of similar cards made with the Sheltering Tree and thought it would be great using the Hello stamp set.
The base of my card is Pacific Point cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" in the middle.
Then it is layered with Wild Wasabi cardstock cut at 4" x 5-1/4".  The third layer is Whisper White.  First I stamped "Hello" in Pacific Point ink.  Then cut out an oval mask using the Ovals Collection Framelit Dies.  Then I inked up the tree leaves from Sheltering Tree stamp set first with Wild Wasabi, cleaned my stamp off and inked it up with Pacific Point.  I inked up "My Friend" (which also comes with the Hello set) with Wild Wasabi ink.  I used the Banner Triple Punch to create a banner and attached it with Dimensionals.
