At the Pond

I love this little frog! He is in the 2023 January-April Mini Catalog, but he is a host set which means the order would need to be at least $150 in order for the host to get this set called At the Pond. It's a DistINKtive set so it stamps with different opacites in a single stamped image plus it's 2-step stamping set. See page 90 in the catalog for more information.

Stamp Set: At the Pond (DisInkTive)

Cardstock: Soft Sea Foam, Garden Green, Basic White, Balmy Blue

Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue

Markers: Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend, Garden Green Stampin’ Write

Other: Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Basics 3D Embossing Folder, Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Dragonfly Trinkets

1. The base of the card is Soft Sea Foam Cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2. The second layer is Garden Green Cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4”. The Basic White layer is 3-3/4” x 5” and inserted into the Basics 3D Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. Layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and add to the front of the card base.

3. Cut a Balmy Blue strip of cardstock cut at 1” x 4-7/8” and add the wave stamp to it with Balmy Blue ink. Adhere to the front of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4. Cut a Soft Sea Foam square at 3” x 3” and cut a Garden Green square at 2-7/8 x 2-7/8” and adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5. Cut a Basic White square at 2-1/2” x 2-1/2”. Ink up the log outline stamp image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Use the 2-step using Crumb Cake ink pad for the distinctive log stamp. Color in with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend. Ink up the cat tail on the left side of the log with Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker and the Crumb Cake Blend. The frog’s foot will cover the bottom of the cat tail if it gets on the log.

6. Ink up the frog with Tuxedo Black Memento and stamp on a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. Ink up the distinctive frog stamp with Soft Sea Foam. Cut the frog out with the Paper Snips. Attach him to the log with Dimensionals.

7. Add a Dragonfly Trinket to the right.
