1. The box is Night of Navy cardstock cut at 5-1/4”
x 5-1/4” and score at 1” on all four sides. You need to cut to the score lines
on parallel sides just so they are opposite sides to each other so that you can
fold in the end pieces with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to make the base of your
box.
2. Cut another Night of Navy cardstock 5-1/2”
x 8-1/2” and scored on the long side at 3-1/2” and 4-5/8” and burnish the score
lines with the Bone Folder. This is the
wrap-around for your box.
3. Cut the DSP at 5-1/8” x 5-1/8” and score at
1” on all four sides. Do the same as the
box. This is the insert for the box. Glue it inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
4. Use Snail Adhesive on the inside of the
Night of Navy wrap-around and adhere ribbon so that you tie in a box at the
front of your box. You will cover the
inside with 3-1/4” x 3-1/4” DSP (shells).
5. Cut the DSP for the scenery at 3-1/4” x
3-1/4” and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Die-cut Crumb Cake using the long die for
cutting the beach. Ink up the
shells/sand with Crumb Cake and a Dauber.
Adhere to the bottom of the DSP with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
6. Die-cut Coastal Cabana grass and adhere
with Multipurpose Liquid Glue tucked under the sand. Die-cut Petal Pink shells and sponge with a
dauber and adhere with Mini Dimensionals.
Products I used:
7. Ink up the birds with Soft Suede ink on
Crumb Cake cardstock and die-cut. Add
just one bird with a Dimensional.
8. Die-cut an oval from the Mini Pocket
Envelope Dies. Add Dimensionals and
attach to the top right of the box.
9. Die-cut a small Balmy Blue label with the
Stylish Shapes with the sentiment “Thank You for Everything” and attach to the
top of the box over the DSP.
