Great Journey - Adventure

This card was inspired by the card in the 2023 Mini Catalog on page 58, but I used different colors and love the look.  It's a great masculine or feminine card.  My 8-year-old grandkids like rock climbing, but not sure I'd be ready for them to ever do mountain climbing.

Stamp Set:  Greatest Journey

Cardstock:  Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Enjoy the Journey DSP

Ink:  Versamark, White Embossing Powder

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Stylish Shapes Dies, Greatest Journey Dies, Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Melon Mambo cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Basic Black cardstock cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    The third layer is Enjoy the Journey DSP cut at 3-3/4” x 5” and adhered to the front of the Basic Black layer.

4.    Die-cut a Basic Black cardstock mountain with the Greatest Journey Dies.  Adhere to the bottom of the DSP layer.

5.    Die-cut the man with the backpack and light but trim off the light with the Paper Snips and add the walking cane instead with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

6.    With Versamark ink, stamp the sentiment “Wishing You Joy in This Next Adventure” on Basic Black cardstock Stylish Shapes banner, but use the Embossing Buddy first.  Add White Embossing Powder and shake off excess.  Heat set with the Heat Tool.  Attach with Dimensionals at the top of the card.
