Latte Love

This card was made with the new Latte Love Bundle which is not in any catalog, you will find it Online HERE at my 24/7 store.  You can also purchase the Latte Love Designer Series Paper, but the Ribbon and Dots will be available in April 2024.  I die-cut the cups from the DSP and added Dimensionals to the back.

Here are my instructions for making this card:

Stamps: Latte Love

Ink:  Pecan Pie and Early Espresso ink pads

Paper: Calypso Coral and Basic White Cardstock A Little Latte DSP

Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Latte Love Dies

Other: Adhesive Backed Swirl Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals

1.     Cut a 5 1/2” X 8 1/2” piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock. Fold in half.

2.    Cut and adhere a 4 1/4” X 5 1/2” piece of DSP to the card front.

3.     Stamp the sentiment on the bottom right corner of a 3 3/4” X 5” piece of Basic White Cardstock.

4.     Stamp the splatter and rings several times in Pecan Pie ink. Adhere to the card front with Dimensionals.

5.     Cut three cups from the DSP with the matching die. Adhere to the Basic White piece with Dimensionals.

6.     Add several Swirl Dots around the cups.

7.    Continue the design to the inside of the card by stamping the splatter and rings again.  Stamp the coffee and color it in with the Calypso Coral marker.

Excellent Eggs - Pop and Flip Card

This is a card that I made using Rose Coleman's video instructions, but I changed it from hers.
When you open the card, it flips through the front egg opening and pops up on the inside.

Here are the instructions on how I made this card:

Stamp Set:  Excellent Eggs

Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Fresh Freesia, Azure Afternoon, Lemon Lolly, Lighter Than Air DSP

Ink:

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Excellent Eggs Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Tear and Tape, Rainbow Backed Gems

1.     The basic card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and score at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    Add 4” x 5-1/4” Lighter Than Air DSP to the card base front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Die-cut the large egg front the card front center.  Decorate with the dies from Excellent Eggs and set aside.

4.    Cut 3” x 4” Basic White cardstock and score at 1”, 2” and 3”.  Burnish with Bone Folder.  Use the Tear and Tape to adhere to the inside to form a square by adhering it to both ends.  Then adhere one end to the bottom of the card inside close to the score line and the other end to the top close to the score line.

5.    Now cut a ¾” x 2-1/4” Basic White strip and score at 1-1/4”.  Insert your egg into the front opening.  Adhere the long end of the strip to the Easter egg so that the short end adheres to the top edge of the square.  Now when it opens, the egg pops up on the inside.

6.    Decorate with the front with the bunny and the sentiment.

7.    Add three Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots.

March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Fun-Fold Box - Sweet Springtime

Stamp Set:  March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Sweet Springtime

Cardstock:  #3 Milk Carton

Ink: Gorgeous Grape

Other:  Paper Trimmer, Tear and Tape, Glue Dots, Ribbon Duo Combo Pack (Lemon Lime Twist), Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Bone Folder, Paper Snips

1.     Instead of making a milk carton, I made a box.  Or you could make it a pop-up to mail if you cut off the bottom white pieces, but I chose not to. I started by scoring the four sections.

2.    With the Paper Snips, cut the Petal Pink section to the middle score line, but do not score the Petal Pink sections (milk carton).  Also, cut off the small 1/2” Petal Pink Gingham leaving only the ½” green flowery end.  This is where you will add your Tear and Tape (but on the white side and not on the ½” green flowery end).  Your outside box will be the white and decorated side goes on the inside.

3.    Glue the bottom white sections of the box with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    For the outside of the box, cut three 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” of the flowery green design paper from the slimline cards to adhere to the two sides and front of the white box with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    On the back, cut 2-1/2” x 4-1/2” of the flowery green design paper to give the back support so that it doesn’t bend down.  The three front Petal Pink Gingham will fold down to decorate with the bunny/chick, daffodils.  The ribbon is tied into bows where the holes are already in the Petal Pink gingham paper.

6.    Ink up a label with sentiment “Happy Easter and attach to the back section of the box.

7.    The inside, cut two or three strips at ¾” x 3-1/2” and score ½” on each end and place scored ends with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Cut create from kit and flowers and attach with Glue Dots.

Hot Air Balloon - Birthday or Just a Note

This is card we did at a recent card club.  It was inspired by Rose Coleman but I made it into a birthday card and used the other side of the Light & Airy DSP.  The Scalloped Contour Dies are retiring the end of April while they last.  It's been a go-to for me for many of my cards, so I will be sad to see the dies leave.  Thankfully, the Hot Air Balloon will stay.  It is such a cute set!

Stamp Set:  Hot Air Balloon

Cardstock:  Thick Basic White, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, 6” x 6” Lighter Than Air DSP

Ink:  Azure Afternoon, Fresh Freesia

Classic Markers: Azure Afternoon, Fresh Freesia

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Scalloped Contour Dies, Hot Air Balloon Dies, Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack, Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Tear and Tape, Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” and scored at 4-1/4” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is the Lighter Than Air DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” (Use side of your choice).

3.    Use the third Scalloped Contour Dies to die-cut a Basic White scallop.

4.    Ink up the words "Happy Birthday..." on Basic White and die-cut the label.  Or ink up the words “Just a Note to” with the Azure Afternoon ink pad or Classic Marker.  Clean the stamp.  Now, ink up the words “Life you up” with the Fresh Freesia ink or Classic Marker.  Practice on grid paper.  Then adhere to the middle of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

5.    On a scrap of Basic White, ink up the large air balloon with Azure Afternoon ink.  Then add the center stamp to the air balloon with Fresh Freesia ink.  At the very bottom of the air balloon, adhere a small piece to Tear and Tape.

6.    Die-cut a basket from Fresh Freesia. Adhere to the Tear and Tape of the air balloon.  Then add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back.  A mini one for the basket.

7.    Adhere to the left side of the Basic White scallop.

8.    Add three (3) of the Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots.

9.    Tie a bow using the Baker’s Twine and adhere to the top of the basket with a Glue Dot.
