Sending Love - I Miss You!

This is a card that uses the Sending Love Bundle.  It is great for Valentines, Happy Birthday or even I Miss You.  I did a similar card for a workshop but used the SAB Embossing Folder called Softly Sophisticated.  This one uses the Les Shoppes DSP for the background which was an idea from Janet Wakeland.

Stamp Set:  Sending Love

Cardstock:  Old Olive, Basic White, Smokey Slate, Sweet Sorbet, Pecan Pie, 12” x 12” Les Shoppes DSP

Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento

Other:  Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Sending Love Dies, Paper Trimmer, Bone Folder, Stylish Shapes Circle Dies, Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers, Matte Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals

1.     The base of the card is Old Olive cardstock cut at 4-1/4” x 11” and scored at 5-1/2” in the middle.

2.    The second layer is Les Shoppes DSP cut at 4” x 5-1/4” and adhered to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

3.    Cut the grass dies using Old Olive cardstock and the Sending Love Dies.  Place the longer die along the bottom edge with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Pop up the bushes with Stampin’ Dimensionals, but first die-cut the mailbox post from Pecan Pie cardstock and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.    Die-cut the mailbox from Smokey Slate and use Bone Folder on scored lines.  Ink up the stamp “mail” with Tuxedo Black Memento to stamp on the mailbox.  Die-cut the red flat from Sweet Sorbet and attach with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Add a Matte Dot over the hole.  Adhere mailbox together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and attach the mailbox with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5.    Ink up the sentiment “I Miss You” with Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and die-cut with the Stylish Shapes Circle Dies.  Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

6.    Die-cut a Basic White envelope and adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add an Adhesive Heart to the envelope flap.  Insert into mailbox.

7.    Add two Adhesive Backed Flowers to the bushes.
